Same Lanes, Bigger Change! 💪

3 sessions down, 2 more to go! The excitement is building as we head towards the final stretch of our Lane to Change Bowling Challenge 2026, a collaboration between Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association (SANA) × Ultimate Friends SG (UFSG)!

Beyond the strikes, spares and friendly competition, this journey has been about building meaningful connections, strengthening peer support and encouraging positive change through healthy recreational activities. 💙

🏆 With only two games remaining, the race for the top spots is heating up! Will our current leaders maintain their positions, or will we witness an incredible comeback?

We are grateful to Laluan Negeri Indonesia for featuring our Regional Anti-Drug Advocacy engagement at Seila 104.3 FM Batam on 17 October 2026! 🎙️💚

Ultimate Friends Singapore and Ultimate Friends Indonesia came together as ONE, united by a shared commitment to drug prevention, recovery awareness and second chances.

Although our planned school outreach had to be postponed due to the haze situation in Batam, our mission continued through a live radio interview. It was an opportunity to introduce our advocacy work, share lived experiences and remind the community that recovery is possible, change is real, and every individual deserves hope and an opportunity to rebuild their life.

We are especially proud to have Ellyriana and Jumeati sharing their lived experiences, alongside Nur Azlinda, who introduced Ultimate Friends SG and our community-based recovery programmes, and Eko Istiyanto, representing Ultimate Friends Indonesia.

Our message remains simple:

Never sacrifice your future just to be accepted by others. Make the right choices, believe in change and remember that second chances are possible.

A heartfelt thank you to Laluan Negeri for highlighting our advocacy efforts, Seila 104.3 FM Batam for welcoming us, and our Indonesian counterparts for continuing this meaningful partnership.

Ultimate Friends Singapore and Ultimate Friends Indonesia came together as ONE for a meaningful live radio interview with Seila 104.3 FM Batam, bringing our voices and experiences across borders.

Through conversations about drug prevention, lived experiences, recovery and second chances, we hope to create greater awareness, challenge stigma and remind our communities that positive change is possible.

Despite the changes to our original outreach plans due to the haze situation, our advocacy did not stop. Instead, we embraced another opportunity to reach the wider community through radio. 🎙️

🇸🇬🚢🇮🇩 SAFELY ARRIVED IN BATAM! | REGIONAL ANTI-DRUG ADVOCACY 2026

We have safely arrived in Batam and checked into our hotel after enjoying a good dinner together! 😋🍽️❤️

It's been a lovely start to our journey, filled with good food, laughter and great company. Unfortunately, due to the haze situation in Batam, schools are closed and our planned youth outreach will not be taking place. While it's disappointing, everyone's health and safety must always come first.

Nevertheless, our advocacy continues! 💚 Tomorrow, we will be heading to Seila Radio Batam (104.3 FM) for a live radio interview, where we will share our experiences, discuss drug prevention, recovery and second chances, and spread our message of hope to the wider community.

Sometimes, plans may change, but our purpose remains the same. Advocacy is not limited to classrooms or physical engagements. Every conversation is an opportunity to educate, inspire and make a difference. 🤝

📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT | CHANGE OF PLANS, SAME MISSION! 🇸🇬🇮🇩

Due to the regional haze situation affecting Singapore and Batam, our “Hope in Action: Drug Prevention Socialisation” scheduled for 17 October 2026 at SMP BP Tahfidz At Taubah and SMP 36 Batam will be POSTPONED as a precautionary measure to safeguard the health and well-being of everyone involved.

🎙️ BUT OUR ADVOCACY CONTINUES!

Although our school outreach has been postponed, we are taking our message of hope and recovery to the airwaves! We are pleased to announce a special radio interview with Seila 104.3 FM Batam.

Through this interview, our representatives will share lived experiences, recovery journeys, the importance of peer support, drug prevention awareness, and the power of second chances. ❤️

✨ 15 DAYS TO GO! 🇸🇬✈️🇬🇧

The countdown is getting real! In just 15 days, Ultimate Friends SG will be taking the stage at the ICPA 2026 Annual Conference in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Representing Ultimate Friends SG, Nur Azlinda Zulkifli and Mohammad Hairi will be sharing at an international platform — bringing with them the voices, experiences and perspectives shaped by recovery, reintegration and anti-drug advocacy.

For us, this is more than travelling to another country to speak. It is an opportunity to bring lived experience beyond our shores, connect with practitioners and communities from around the world, and show how people who once faced difficult chapters can step forward with purpose and contribute meaningfully to society.

💚 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 2026 |

Today, in conjunction with World Mental Health Day, we came together for an afternoon of meaningful conversations, heartfelt sharing and reflection on mental health, recovery and resilience.

The event also marked a special milestone with the book launch by Coach Aifa Ahmad. 📖✨

A meaningful moment celebrating the power of sharing knowledge, experiences and perspectives that can inspire others.

Representing Ultimate Friends SG, we had Hairi, Dania and Yusof sharing their personal recovery journeys and how their experiences are closely connected to mental health.

Originally, Azlinda was scheduled to be one of the speakers. Unfortunately, she was unwell and unable to join us. We are grateful to Yusof for stepping forward to take her place and share his journey with the audience. ❤️

Each of our three speakers brought a different story, different struggles and different lessons. Yet, there was one common message — recovery is not just about moving away from substance use. It is also about learning to understand ourselves, manage our emotions, rebuild our confidence and take care of our mental wellbeing.

Mental health challenges are not always visible. Sometimes, behind a smile is someone struggling silently. Behind a recovery journey are moments of fear, self-doubt, emotional struggles and the courage to keep moving forward.

Through today's sharing, we hope to remind everyone that it is okay to struggle, okay to seek help and okay to take things one day at a time.

A heartfelt thank you to the Centre for Community Wellbeing for organising this meaningful event, to Coach Aifa Ahmad for sharing her special milestone with us, and to everyone who joined us with open hearts and listening ears.

Most importantly, thank you to Hairi, Dania and Yusof for having the courage to share your lived experiences. Your stories are reminders that our past does not have to define our future.

💚 Mental health matters. Recovery matters. Every story matters.

Let us continue creating spaces where people feel safe to speak, comfortable to seek support and empowered to move forward.
