Hello all 👋

we will be heading to Penjuru Recreation Centre on 13/12/25 and do some volunteer events.

We will be doing some MSEs for them and also for some health screenings , Photo Booth , games and also donate some pre loved clothings ( male clothes ; pants; Footwear )

So if anyone you got any preloves clothings that still wearable and can be donate , please drop us a message and and pass us the clothings before this weekend .

Shining a Spotlight on Singapore's Nurses! ✨

What an inspiring day at the grand opening of the new Singapore Nurses Association (SNA) premises on November 8, 2025!

We were thrilled to celebrate alongside Mrs. Jane Ittogi Shanmugaratnam and SNA President, Ms Samantha Ong. This beautiful new space marks a vibrant new chapter for the association.

On behalf of PNC, a HUGE congratulations to the SNA team! May this new home be a hub of learning, collaboration, and empowerment for all nurses across Singapore.

Educational Exchange: 19 Psychiatric Nurses
Visit "The Affiliated Brain Hospital of
Guangzhou Medical University 广州医科大学附属脑科医院”

A delegation of 19 psychiatric nurses completed an educational study trip to Guangzhou Brain Hospital on 19 September 2025, gaining valuable insights into innovative mental health care practices.

The visit provided exposure to different clinical approaches at one of China's leading neuropsychiatric institutions. Participants observed treatment methodologies, engaged with local healthcare professionals, and explored rehabilitation programmes and community outreach initiatives.

This cross-cultural exchange allowed nurses to compare treatment approaches and discover new therapeutic techniques applicable to their home practice environments. The programme fostered professional development through knowledge sharing and networking opportunities.

Such international collaborations advance psychiatric nursing standards and contribute to improved patient care delivery across different healthcare systems globally.

An average rating of 4.6/5 would attend and/or recommend PNC events to others.

Thank you to *Guangzhou Medical University Affiliated Brain Hospital for being so generous with sharing your nurse-led services and evidence-based interventions with us on 19 Sep 2025. Members have a great time with the hospitality of the hospital and learned a lot about the services for people with mental health conditions.

May more members join the Singapore Nurses Association - SNA as well as future activities of Psychiatric Nurses' Chapter - PNC .

On 24 August 2025, 4 teams of bowlers from Psychiatric Nurses’ Chapter participated in the 23rd SNA President Challenge Bowling Tournament 2025.

PNC proudly reveals its first-ever newsletter, showcasing events and activities from March 2024 through March 2025. Not just a publication, this release is a collaborative effort of the PNC community, along with individuals’ commitment, compassion and care.

As we archive our work, PNC shall begins a journey of discovering new adventures and advances within ourselves and many others.

It has been another fast and fantastic year in 2024. PNC is extremely glad to collaborate further with Crisis Relief Alliance (CRA) & other associations for our migrant brothers in the Penjuru Recreation Centre. With our deep appreciation, we would like to extend our gratitude to our PNC members for their time and effort on the following events in 2024!

- 27 April 24 (Labour Day)
- 27 July 24 (National Day)
- 7 Dec 24 (Christmas)

Everyone plays an important role in preserving the world environment. You may watch the Recently Added Netflix "Buy Now: The Shopping Conspiracy" so as to better understand the huge harmful impact to our climate changes.

PNC has reached out their environment friendly part by actively collecting old clothes, pants, backpacks, and shorts for the donation to migrant workers.

Perhaps we might not see how it is related to mental health issues, Srinivas Mishra has quoted it nicely that “If the environment is happy, people will laugh and your grief will go away”.
