Why do TCM physicians ask so many questions? 🤔

A patient once smiled and asked me,

"Can't you tell everything just by feeling my pulse?" 😄

Pulse-taking is important, but it's only one piece of the puzzle.

That's why I'll also ask about your sleep, appetite, digestion, bowel movements, or whether you usually feel hot or cold.

I'm not asking because I'm curious 😆. Every answer gives me another clue to understand what's really going on and helps me choose the treatment that's most suitable for you.

So if I ask quite a few questions during your consultation, it's all part of getting to know your body better. 😊

为什么中医总是问这么多？🤔

曾经有病人笑着问我：

「不是把个脉就知道了吗？」😄

其实，把脉很重要，但它只是诊察的一部分。

所以我还是会问你睡得好不好、胃口怎么样、大小便如何、会不会怕冷怕热……

不是因为我爱问，而是每一个答案都是身体给我们的线索。

中医讲究的是四诊合参——望、闻、问、切，把所有资讯结合起来，才能更了解身体的状况，也找到更适合的治疗方向。

所以下次如果我问的问题比较多，希望你别介意😊，因为每一个答案，都能帮助我更了解你的身体。
