A Milestone for MEDIVEN: Co-founder Dr Lim Li Sze Receives 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award from Medical Device Authority (MDA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), at the International Medical Device Exhibition and Conference (IMDEC) 2026.

MEDIVEN congratulates our Co-founder and Operations Director, Dr Lim Li Sze, on receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at IMDEC 2026 this morning. This recognition honours her leadership and contributions to medical device technology and diagnostic solutions.

The award was presented during the IMDEC 2026 Closing Ceremony by YAB Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, alongside:

• YB Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, Minister of Health Malaysia
• YBhg. Datuk Seri Hj. Hasnol Zam Zam bin Hj. Ahmad, Secretary-General, Ministry of Health Malaysia
• YBhg. Datuk Ts. Dr Muralitharan Paramasua, Chief Executive Officer, Medical Device Authority (MDA)
• Dr Akmal Yusof, Clinical Research of Malaysia (CRM)

Since MEDIVEN’s establishment in 2012, we have developed and manufactured a portfolio of diagnostic solutions while adhering to the standards of regulatory compliance under the framework of the Medical Device Authority (MDA). We remain steadfast in upholding high standards and persistent in driving compliance, quality, and innovation across the sector. We thank Datuk Ts. Dr Muralitharan and the MDA for this recognition and their continued support.

Dr Lim received the award alongside Datuk Dr Mukundan Pillay, former Deputy Director-General of Health (Research and Technical Support), former Chairman of the Asian Harmonization Working Party, and former Chair of the ASEAN Medical Device Committee. We congratulate Datuk Dr Mukundan Pillay on his recognition and his contributions to medical device regulation across Malaysia and ASEAN. Dr Lim and Datuk Dr Mukundan Pillay were the two recipients of this year's award.
