Thank you, Guardians. 🌿
I came to Guardians festival with Spirit of Trees, my books, and a wish to share something that has been growing quietly inside me for years.
I left with so much more.
Beautiful conversations. Tears. Hugs. Stories shared under the trees. People returning to tell me what they had felt during the workshop. So many of you stopping by the stand, choosing your tree, asking questions, and simply connecting.

There was also something beautifully symbolic about this experience.
My name, Aleksandra, comes from the Greek Alexandros — from alexein, “to defend, protect,” and aner/andros, “man, human being.” It is commonly understood as “defender” or “protector of people.”
And there I was — at Guardians — speaking about breaking invisible cages, reconnecting with ourselves and listening again to the wisdom of trees.
