A very special chapter is continuing in our family business, TULI d.o.o. 💙

This summer, the third generation is joining us for the second year.

Julija is helping with our website, while Neja is supporting us with administrative tasks. Guiding them along the way is our founder, Danica Pleško, who represents the first generation of our family business.

Seeing three generations working together under one roof is something truly meaningful for us. It is not only about learning new tasks, but also about sharing experience, values and the story behind the company.

Of course, working with family can be challenging at times, but moments like these remind us why family businesses are so special.

Installing a ball screw nut looks simple, but one small mistake can damage the whole assembly.

A ball nut is not a standard threaded part. Inside it are recirculating balls, and they must stay correctly guided during installation. That is why the safety mandrel is so important.

In our latest technical blog, we explain:

• why the safety mandrel must stay in place
• how to transfer the nut onto the screw correctly
• why clean and careful installation matters
• what to do if the balls fall out of the nut

The main advice is simple: work clean, keep everything aligned, and do not rush the process.

A partnership built over many years

Tuli has been working with Alwayse Engineering, a leading manufacturer of ball transfer units, since 2008.

Over the years, we have completed many successful projects together and supported many satisfied customers around the world.

Recently, our colleague Ricardo Talavera visited Alwayse in Birmingham, where he had the opportunity to tour the production facilities, learn more about the latest developments, and exchange ideas for future projects.

We are especially proud that Ricardo received the Alwayse Global Partner Award on behalf of Tuli. 🏆 This recognition means a lot to us and confirms the strength of our long-term partnership.

✨ DIY project by our colleague Robi ✨

Today we would like to present a special DIY project made by our colleague Robi.

Robi works in our warehouse and makes sure that your aluminium profiles are safely packed and cut precisely to your requested length.

This time, he used our aluminium profiles for a practical home project. He made a holder for a pool cover roller.

The roller was left from his previous pool, which had a square shape and could be attached directly to the pool. Since this was not possible with his new oval pool, Robi found a smart solution — he made a free-standing holder, so the roller can still be used. 👏

And the best part? When the pool is no longer in use, the holders can still be used for other purposes.

Projects like this show how versatile aluminium profiles really are — from industrial applications to smart and practical DIY solutions at home.

Can you imagine that the image below of our director, Erika Pleško, was created with the help of products from our own sales program?

One of our customers used Tuli components to build a CNC machine that combines automation, precision, and creativity.

The CNC machine will be used for making wood inlays, machining wood, aluminium, and steel, engraving, and creating mosaic / pixel art panels and string art. It is a beautiful mix of CNC automation and handmade craftsmanship.

For this project, our customer used Tuli components such as:
⚙️ aluminium profiles
⚙️ ball screws and nuts
⚙️ linear rails and block
⚙️ support units

And the result? A creative portrait of our director, Erika Pleško — made with technology, precision, and a lot of imagination. 😊

Projects like this truly inspire us because they show how versatile our products can be — from industrial applications to unique creative works of art.
