The Awakened Woman didn’t begin as a business idea.

It was born from a life that needed to change - and from a woman who needed to wake up.

And that woman was me.

Through grief, motherhood, relationships, uncertainty and my own moments of being brought to my knees, I began to realise that being strong wasn’t about holding everything together.

It was about learning to meet myself honestly. To choose myself without abandoning the people I love. To live with greater presence, freedom, connection and purpose.

The work of women like Dr. Shefali profoundly shaped that awakening. It challenged me to see life more clearly - not as I wished it would be, but as it is. To face what was real. To stay awake to the truth that pain and loss are part of being human, while discovering that even our most difficult experiences can become portals for transformation, meaning and purpose.

And somewhere along the way, I recognised something about my own purpose too:

I don’t wake people up. Life does that.
My work is to hold people while life wakes them up.

The Awakened Woman grew from that lived experience.

Not because I have it all figured out, but because I know what can shift when a woman begins to wake up to herself - and to her life. 🦋

What if the goal isn’t to carry less, but to carry differently?

Not everything we carry is a burden.

Some of it is a life we have consciously chosen.

I don’t want a smaller life.

I want to be a present mother. A wife. A psychologist. A friend. A daughter. I want to show up for the people I love, do work that matters to me, and live a life that feels alive.

But in the noise of living a full life, it can be remarkably easy to move onto autopilot.

To lose touch with ourselves.
To repeat old patterns.
To react instead of choose.

The work is staying awake.

Aware of what we’re carrying.
Aware of how we’re carrying it.
Aware of who we are becoming while we do.

This is the heart behind The Awakened Woman Circle.

One intentional hour each month to step out of the noise, reconnect, reflect and practise living awake - alongside women choosing to do the same.

Not a smaller life.
A more awake one. 🤍

Sometimes, we need a little faith.🦋

Faith that what we cannot yet see may still be unfolding.
Faith that not knowing doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
Faith to take the next step without needing the whole path to be clear.

Hebrews 11:1 speaks of faith as confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

It’s a cold, foggy Wednesday here in Eswatini. And perhaps there’s something in that too.

The fog may change what we can see, but it doesn’t change what is there.

So today’s invitation is a simple one:

Make yourself something warm. ☕️
Take a moment.
And ask yourself:

Where in my life might I need a little more faith right now?

Less certainty. More trust.

From the mouths of babes. 🩷

A theme I keep stumbling upon lately is just how much we can learn from our children - if we pay attention.

My daughter quietly left this note beside the hotel bed for the cleaning staff. She didn’t show it to me or point it out. She simply wrote it, left it there, and I was lucky enough to notice it before we left the room.

“Thank you for cleaning our room. We are grateful.”

Such a small act. Such a beautiful reminder of the power of noticing someone - and taking the time to let them know. I hope it made their day when they read it.

As we begin a new week, perhaps there’s someone in your life who deserves to know that what they do matters - whether they support you quietly in the background or loudly in your everyday life.

Write the note.
Send the message.
Or better yet, say the words.

I see you. I appreciate you. What you do matters.🌱

It’s time. 🤍

One of the questions women asked after our Awakened Woman experiences was:

How do we continue this work beyond the experience?

That question stayed with me.

Because awakening isn’t a moment. It’s a practice. And we were never meant to do it all alone.

So I’m opening the doors to The Awakened Woman Circle - a monthly online space to deepen the work, stay connected, and keep choosing how we want to live.

The Circle is both a continuation and a beginning - open to women who have journeyed with us before and those joining us for the first time.

A little throwback to my daughter at 3 years old teaching me about teamwork… 😂

Funny how the smallest moments can hold the biggest reminders.

We were never meant to do all of life alone.

Maybe she understood teamwork long before I did. 💗

And perhaps that’s why *what’s unfolding next* for The Awakened Woman feels so important…

Your mind is always gathering evidence.

The question is: what are you asking it to prove?

Monday reminder. 💪

What stayed with them.🤍

After Come Home to Yourself, we asked the women what resonated and what they were choosing to carry forward.

These are some of their words.

And one beautiful reminder came through:

Community is healing.

She rises. We rise.
