I’ve been living on this island for over 12 years.
Of course, I’ve seen monkeys many times before. usually in the places where they happily pose for tourists.

But finding myself alone in the jungle, suddenly surrounded by an entire troop of wild monkeys? That was a first🫠

They weren’t aggressive, but having dozens of curious eyes fixed on you in the middle of nowhere is definitely an experience.🫶😶‍🌫️

Social media hasn’t been social for a long time.
Most people aren’t connecting anymore. We’re performing, acting, selling… whatever, but not really connecting.
Instead of being a place where you can feel seen, it turned into a place of comparison, competition, and disappointment.
