When is the best time for egg freezing?
The sooner you are ready, the better!
This is because at a younger age, your ovarian reserve (initial egg count) is typically higher, your body tends to respond better to hormonal stimulation, and the egg quality is generally superior.
Furthermore, freezing early allows for much better strategic planning. For instance:
If the egg yield is low, we can plan for additional stimulation cycles.
If we get many eggs but the quality appears sub-optimal, we can discuss whether to proceed with fertilization and freeze them as embryos instead.

Case Study: 35-Year-Old Patient
Initial Follicle Count: 20 (which is standard for her age).
Hormonal Response: Exceptional! With a dosage of 250 units, we saw 23 mature follicles (the ones expected to yield viable eggs for freezing) and another 20 smaller ones.
The Result: We successfully retrieved 45 eggs in total! (However, for this specific case, the patient chose to freeze 20. 😆)
As you can see, the body can respond incredibly well to the process.
