August 2026 was a busy month for GE Voluson Thailand, with the Women’s Healthcare team supporting six key clinical events focused on ultrasound technology and women’s healthcare.

At the heart of these activities was Nan Sitthinee Kanking, who stepped into the GE Voluson Product Manager role earlier this year. Transitioning from five years as Sales Manager, Nan embraced the challenge of deepening her product knowledge while bringing her customer-focused sales perspective to the business.

Nan credits the strong support of idsMED Thailand’s leadership and cross-functional teams, whose collaboration has helped her navigate the new role. She also sees opportunities to expand GE Voluson’s reach beyond the premium segment by identifying new customers and growing the business.

For Nan, success is never a solo effort. Together with the WHC team, she believes every event creates new relationships, prospects and opportunities, moving forward by rowing the boat together.

The event also celebrated employees reaching five and ten years of service, recognising their commitment and contributions to idsMED Thailand.

On 6–7 August 2026, idsMED Thailand launched its first Robotics Team booth at the 109th Annual Meeting of the Department of Surgery at Siriraj Hospital, themed “Global Surgery 2026: Equity and Academic Collaboration.”

The booth introduced Edge Medical’s robotic surgical systems alongside selected healthcare solutions, including GE Ultrasound, Nihon Kohden monitors, and InnoQ consumables, to surgeons and healthcare professionals.

Throughout the two-day event, the Robotics Team collaborated with idsMED Thailand’s sales teams to engage visitors, discuss Edge Robotics and its potential applications, and showcase idsMED’s broader medical technology portfolio.

The successful launch marks an important milestone in building awareness of Edge Robotics, strengthening clinical relationships, and supporting the growing adoption of robotic-assisted surgery in Thailand.

From 5–7 August 2026, idsMED Thailand participated in Thailand’s annual meeting of hospital directors, bringing together more than 400 healthcare executives nationwide. The event provided an opportunity to engage with hospital leaders, showcase medical technologies, and gain insights into emerging priorities and investment plans.

Led by the Thailand management team, idsMED featured the GE Vscan SL with Easy EF application and Edge Medical’s MP1000 robotic surgical system. The Vscan SL generated strong interest for its potential role in supporting primary heart failure screening, resulting in at least six qualified leads.

The team also introduced Edge Robotics through a clinical video demonstrating the MP1000’s capabilities. Across three days, valuable discussions with hospital executives provided market intelligence on budgets, technology priorities, and collaboration opportunities, which were shared with the relevant sales teams for follow-up.
