For gender surgery with the standard technique, patients typically stay in the hospital for 5 nights after surgery.
Once the surgeon confirms that they are ready for discharge , they return to their hotel and continue recovering there.
After discharge from the hospital, patients will have scheduled appointments at PAI. The surgeon will check their recovery before confirming whether they are ready to travel home.
Everyone recovers at a different pace, so the discharge date and appointment schedule may be adjusted based on the surgeon’s assessment.
