Gender reveal! We are transitioning!
Just wanted to update you all regarding the rule changes which have gone into effect recently and will remain in place until an actual cannabis bill is passed through Thai parliament.
So, it is a little complex but we will break it down for you nice and clearly!
We currently hold valid licenses for 3 shops, and when those licenses expire, we need to change a few things in order to be compliant with the new regulations.
Just to be absolutely clear, 7th Heaven is going nowhere and all our shops will be fully operational during the forthcoming high season 😁🙏✌️
Rules!
1 : EVERYONE will require a prescription to buy cannabis at 7th Heaven going forwards. If we sell cannabis to you without one, we lose our license. If you get caught with cannabis without a valid prescription, the police will arrest you, you will be prosecuted and fined up to 25,000b or a 1 year prison sentence.
We are currently finalising a partnership with a fully compliant and legal telemedicine consultant in Bangkok. When you come to any of our shops, there will be a QR code at the counter which will connect you directly with a doctor. Within 5 minutes you will be sent a copy of your prescription to your phone, at the same time we are emailed a copy to keep on file and you are covered for a whole month. Easy, done, no worries 😊
2 : We are not allowed to let you smoke on our premises. This rule will be enforced we think quite strongly from now on and again, if we are caught letting anyone smoke their medicine on site, we will lose our license. So for now, this is a change we don't welcome, but we must respect. It was never officially allowed, but tolerated. We are told that will not be the case from now. You can of course smoke anywhere it doesn't bother people, and you can use our premises to take a break, have a drink, chill, play games etc. We are also working on a solution to this rule, we will keep you updated 😊
For now that is the extent of it. No major shakes and so long as you can get your medicine, lay in your hammock or on your balcony and get baked in paradise, everything irie!
We are working hard behind the scenes with the right people to ensure a smooth and compliant transition. We will be sure to keep all our licenses clean and operarional for you all as usual.
So there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Is it still worth flying here to consume your medicine? Absolutely! 😊 We will still be doing our boat trips, backflips, BBQ's and events. We will still be stocking some of the best curated flower in Thailand and we will remain focussed on the mission. The best quality, price and service around. ☺️
