Rehab are all very different. If you are considering rehab, talk to multiple rehabs, ask questions specific to your needs and make sure the rehab is a perfect fit.

At Jintara, we only accept 10 clients at a time, so you will never be overwhelmed or overlooked. Our average demographic is around 35 years old, usually 50% of clients are male and 50% are female and we do not accept any clients forced or pushed into rehab. Our detailed assessment process will help both of us decide if Jintara is best for you.

We offer an intensive, comprehensive, well thought out treatment program to a group of clients of similar needs and demographics. It just works better.

And we know that Jintara will not fit everyone, and we are happy to advise you on rehabs that may be a better fit, and make introductions if that helps.

Lanna Healthcare is proud to continue our support of the Office of the Narcotic Control Board and the Investigation Division of Provincial Police Region 5, who investigate drug crimes in Northern Thailand.

Today we donated computers to the Investigation Division to assist with their difficult and dangerous work in the region, that includes the notorious Golden Triangle region that borders Laos and Myanmar.

We also appreciate the certification of recognition and support of the work that Lanna Healthcare does.

It was a pleasure to meet with the Regional Commander and his team at Jintara Rehab, and we look forward to supporting their work in the future.

Why being a licensed rehab in Thailand is such a big deal?

To be considered a legal “Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Thailand”, the rehab must meet the high standards of the Thailand Ministry of Public Health to be licensed.

The process usually takes 8 – 12 months after submission of a detailed application, and then a thorough audit of all parts of the business – from legal entity, staff credentials, treatment program, medical support, correct tax structure and audits, facility check, health and safety – among others, and the license may be approved.

Many people consider that Thailand being a developing country that rehabs may be of a lower standard – but they’d be wrong. Consider Australia – there is no legislation, no regulation, no standards, no licensing system, no watchdog, nor so much as even guidelines to operating a private rehab.

Licensed Rehabs in Thailand have reached a level far higher than many rehabs in the West, and offer exceptional value for money in a beautiful country, far away from distractions.

Jintara Rehab introduces Reiki Treatment

Reiki is a form of therapy in which the practitioner is believed to channel energy into the patient in order to encourage healing or restore wellbeing.

A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.

Reiki is included in all of our Jintara clients programs, and whilst we encourage clients to experience Reiki (and massage and meditation), it is optional if clients feel it is not for them.
