Today’s stretching class was about more than simply stretching the neck, shoulders, and chest.
We worked on creating balance between mobility and stability — opening the front body while strengthening the lower trapezius and core stabilizers, so the body can move through a healthier range of motion without asking the neck, shoulders, or lower back to work harder than they need to.
We also explored how physical tension and emotional tension can sometimes show up together, especially around the shoulders, chest, hips, and breath.
By releasing unnecessary tension and creating more space across the chest, breathing can become naturally deeper and easier — supporting the parasympathetic nervous system and helping the body shift toward a calmer, more relaxed state.
Stretch. Strengthen. Breathe. Release.
Not just to become more flexible, but to help the whole body feel more balanced and at ease. 🤍
