☯️ Relax Your Heart, Release What You’ve Been Carrying ❤️

We often know how to relax our bodies, we rest, stretch, breathe, take a bath, or go for a walk.

But how often do we consciously allow our heart to relax?

Throughout life, we can carry disappointment, fear, sadness, stress, and old emotional experiences without even realizing how much space they take inside us.
In Taoist practice, the heart is connected with love, joy, compassion, and emotional openness. Learning to soften the heart can therefore become an important part of transforming the energy we carry within.

🌿 Take a quiet moment today.
- Close your eyes and bring your attention to the area of your heart.
- Imagine that you are smiling gently into your heart.

Then ask yourself:
What am I still holding that I am ready to soften or let go of?
You don't have to find an answer immediately.

Simply breathe, stay present, and allow your heart to have a little more space. ✨

In my Taoist practice, we use the Inner Smile to cultivate love, joy, and happiness within the heart and then bring these qualities into the rest of the body.
Sometimes healing begins not by doing more, but by allowing ourselves to soften.

☯️ How Does Your Energy Feel When You Are in Balance?

Sometimes you can feel that something is different, even when nothing specific seems to be wrong.

When your energy feels clear and balanced, you may feel more grounded, present, open, and connected with your body.

You have more space inside, your breath feels easier, and you can respond to life without feeling constantly overwhelmed. 🌿

But when your energy becomes depleted or scattered, you may notice a very different state:

• Feeling tired even after resting
• Difficulty concentrating or feeling mentally foggy
• Tension or heaviness in the body
• Feeling emotionally overwhelmed or easily irritated
• A sense of being disconnected from yourself
• Giving energy to everyone around you while having very little left for yourself.

Your body often notices the state of your energy before your mind does.

In Taoist practice, we learn to become more aware of these subtle changes, and to work with our breath, emotions, body, and attention to restore greater balance. ✨

Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing these practices with you live.

☯️ Ovarian Breathing: Reconnect With Your Sexual Energy 🌸

As women, we can become so focused on our minds, responsibilities, relationships, and everything happening around us that we gradually lose connection with the energy within our own bodies.

Our sexual energy is not only about sexuality.

In Taoist practice, Jing Chi, sexual energy, is understood as part of our Original Energy and one of the most creative and life-giving forms of energy we have.

When we begin to bring our awareness back to the ovaries, we can start to feel a part of ourselves that may have been overlooked for a long time.

🌸 Ovarian Breathing is one of the fundamental Taoist practices for women.

The practice begins by connecting with love, joy, and happiness, and then bringing this awareness and your breath to the ovaries.

As you breathe into this area, gently contract and release the pelvic floor while keeping your awareness on the ovaries and uterus. You may begin to notice warmth, tingling, or a subtle sense of vitality in this area.

For me, one of the most beautiful parts of this practice is learning to feel your own sexual energy instead of treating it as something separate from your everyday life.

With practice, you can learn to cultivate this energy, circulate it through the body, and eventually gather it in the Lower Tan Tien rather than allowing it to remain scattered.
This is where Sexual Qigong begins. 🌿

✨ I will be sharing Ovarian Breathing and other Taoist women’s practices in my upcoming 2-day online workshop:

☯️ Breast Massage: A Gentle Way to Reconnect With Your Feminine Vitality

For many women, the breasts can become an area we rarely give our attention to.
Yet in my Taoist practice, I have found that bringing loving awareness and gentle touch to this area can help us reconnect with our body, sensitivity, and feminine vitality 🌿

☯️ Begin by giving yourself a few quiet moments:
• Rub your palms together until they feel warm
• Place your hands gently over your breasts and take a few relaxed breaths
• Bring a feeling of love, happiness, and joy into your heart
• Begin to massage the breasts with slow, gentle circular movements
• Stay present with the warmth and sensations in your body ✨

There is no need to press deeply or create a particular sensation.
I encourage you to approach your body with curiosity, gentleness, and acceptance.

With regular practice, you may begin to notice more warmth, sensitivity, and awareness in the breasts, as well as a deeper sense of connection between the breasts, ovaries, and uterus.

For me, this is one of the beautiful aspects of Taoist practice:
we learn to reconnect with parts of ourselves that we may have stopped truly feeling🌸

☯️ How Can You Reconnect With Your Energy? ✨

Sometimes we don’t actually need to find more energy.
We need to come back to the energy that is already within us🌿

In Taoist practice, the body is not separate from our energy.
Our attention, emotions, breath, and daily habits all influence how our Qi moves and how much of it we are able to cultivate and keep.

☯️ Start by bringing your energy back inward:

• Take a few moments to notice how you feel before you begin your day
• Bring your awareness to your heart and practice the Inner Smile
• Move your attention down into your lower abdomen
• Notice the warmth, sensations, or vitality in your body
• Give yourself a moment to simply gather rather than immediately giving your energy away ✨

The Lower Tan Tien, around the area below the navel, is described in Taoist practice as a place where Qi can be gathered and stored.
The more regularly you return your attention to your body, the easier it becomes to notice where your energy is going, and to consciously cultivate it instead of constantly spending it.
This is not about doing more.

It is about learning to stay connected with yourself. 🌸

☯️ Ovarian Breathing: Reconnecting with Your Feminine Energy

In Taoist practice, the ovaries are connected with feminine, creative, and life-force energy.

Ovarian Breathing begins with the Inner Smile, cultivating love, joy, and happiness in the heart, and then bringing this loving awareness to the ovaries.

🌸 A simple way to begin:

- Place your hands over your lower abdomen and bring your awareness to your ovaries.

- Imagine a gentle, loving warmth flowing from your heart toward them.

- Breathe softly into this area and notice any warmth, tingling, or sense of vitality.

There is nothing to force. The practice is about learning to feel, cultivate, and connect with the energy already within your body.

In the full practice, this energy is then guided through the body and gathered in the Lower Tan Tien, helping you learn not only to generate energy, but also to conserve it.

☯️ Taoist Breast Massage for Feminine Beauty & Vitality✨

In Taoist practice, the breasts are not seen only as part of a woman’s physical beauty. They are also connected with feminine vitality, sensitivity, and our relationship with the sexual organs.

Gentle breast massage can be used to bring more awareness and energy into this area and to reconnect with your body in a loving, nourishing way 🌹

☯️ A gentle way to begin:

1️⃣ Warm your hands.
Rub your palms together until they feel warm. You may use a little natural body oil, or practice through a soft silk cloth.
2️⃣ Pause before touching your body.
Place your warm palms over your breasts and bring your attention to feelings of love, happiness, and joy. Take a few quiet breaths.
3️⃣ Begin the massage.
Using gentle, slow movements, massage from the inner part of the breasts upward and around the ni***es, moving outward.
4️⃣ Repeat the movement 9, 18, or 36 times, keeping the touch slow and relaxed.
5️⃣ Change the direction.
Now massage gently from the outer part of the breasts inward, again for 9, 18, or 36 repetitions.
6️⃣ Stay connected to your sensations.
The pressure can vary slightly, but the touch should remain gentle. You can also very softly hold or compress the breast tissue for a moment, simply noticing its texture and sensations.
7️⃣ Notice the connection.
As you continue, bring your awareness to the relationship between the breasts, ni***es, ovaries, uterus, and your feminine center. Jutta describes combining the breast massage with Ovarian Breathing and Womb Breathing once this connection becomes more familiar.
8️⃣ Finish with stillness.
Place your hands over your breasts and take a moment to feel the warmth, sensitivity, and connection you have created. 🌸

The purpose is not to massage harder or force a particular sensation.
It is about learning to meet your body with attention, warmth, and care, and becoming more connected with your feminine vitality.

✨ You can make this a small morning ritual, as Jutta recommends practicing breast massage regularly and allowing it to become as natural as any other part of your daily self-care.

After 40, your body and energy may begin to change.
You may feel more easily depleted, carry tension in your belly and pelvis, or notice that rest no longer restores you in the same way.
But this stage of life does not have to be a decline.

In Taoist tradition, it can become your Second Spring, a time to turn your energy inward, reconnect with your body, and cultivate a new kind of vitality and inner strength.

Over these two days, we will explore:

🌸 Releasing stored tension from the belly, lower back, hips, and pelvic area
🌸 Inner Smile and Six Healing Sounds for reconnecting with your body

🌸 Breast Massage and Ovarian Breathing to reconnect with feminine vitality
🌸 A simplified Microcosmic Orbit practice to circulate your energy

☯️ How Can a Woman Collect and Store Her Energy?

Many women are very good at giving their energy away.

To work. To relationships. To family. To responsibilities. To constantly thinking, solving, caring, and being available.

And sometimes, even when we finally rest, we still don’t feel restored.

In Taoist practice, cultivating energy is not only about creating more of it.

It is also about learning how to gather, conserve, and store what you have. 🌿

☯️ Where do we collect our energy?

The Lower Tan Tien, located in the lower abdomen, is considered an important reservoir of life-force energy.

Instead of allowing your attention and energy to constantly move outward, Taoist practices teach you to bring them back into your body and gather them in this center.

This is why practices such as the Inner Smile end by collecting the positive energy you have cultivated and bringing it back to the Lower Tan Tien.

🥀You can begin by noticing:

• Where does your attention go throughout the day?
• How often are you giving energy without replenishing yourself?
• What happens in your body when you finally stop?
• Can you bring your awareness back to your lower abdomen and simply stay there for a few breaths? ✨

Rest is not always the same as replenishment.
Sometimes, restoring your energy begins with learning not to constantly send it outward, but to bring it home.

🌸 Your energy needs somewhere to return to.

☯️ Smile Into Your Heart

We often look outside ourselves for love, reassurance, and emotional support.
We give our attention to our partners, families, work, and the people around us, and sometimes we keep giving without taking the time to replenish what is within us 🌿

In Taoist practice, the Inner Smile begins with a simple shift: bringing your awareness back to your own heart.

☯️ Smile Into Your Heart:
• Close your eyes and bring your attention to your heart
• Visualize your heart and gently smile into it
• Remember a moment when you genuinely felt love, joy, happiness, or gratitude
• Allow that feeling to grow and become more present within you ✨

You are not trying to force yourself to feel happy.
You are reconnecting with a feeling you have already experienced and giving it space to become stronger.
From the heart, the practice continues through the body. In Taoist practice, the Inner Smile brings positive qualities to different organs, kindness and creativity to the liver, courage to the lungs, and tenderness, calmness, and peace to the kidneys.

Over time, this practice can help you develop a more loving and accepting relationship with yourself, and from this inner connection, it becomes easier to share love with others.
