✨ ศ.ทพ.พีรนิธ กันตะบุตร รับเชิญบรรยายวิชาการด้านพันธุศาสตร์ ณ มหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำในสาธารณรัฐเช็ก 🇨🇿
เมื่อวันที่ 9 กันยายน 2569 ศ.ทพ.พีรนิธ กันตะบุตร อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาทันตกรรมสำหรับเด็ก และศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศด้านการวิจัยพันธุศาสตร์ทางการแพทย์ ภาควิชาทันตกรรมจัดฟันและทันตกรรมสำหรับเด็ก คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ได้รับเชิญให้เป็นวิทยากรบรรยายทางวิชาการในหัวข้อ **“Genetic Study of Rare Dental, Gingival, and Limb Anomalies” ณ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยชาร์ลส์ (Charles University) กรุงปราก สาธารณรัฐเช็ก เมื่อวันที่ 7 กันยายน 2569 และ ณ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมาซาริก (Masaryk University) เมืองเบอร์โน สาธารณรัฐเช็ก 🇨🇿
การบรรยายดังกล่าวนำเสนอความก้าวหน้าด้านการศึกษาพันธุศาสตร์ของความผิดปกติที่พบได้น้อยในบริเวณกะโหลกศีรษะและใบหน้า ฟัน เหงือก และแขนขา โดยให้ความสำคัญกับการบูรณาการข้อมูลลักษณะทางคลินิก (Clinical Phenotyping) พันธุศาสตร์ระดับโมเลกุล (Molecular Genetics) และชีววิทยาพัฒนาการ (Developmental Biology) เพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับกลไกและการเกิดโรคหายากในมนุษย์ 💠
🤝 นอกจากการบรรยายทางวิชาการแล้ว ศ.ทพ.พีรนิธ ยังได้หารือร่วมกับคณาจารย์และนักวิจัยจากทั้งสองมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อแสวงหาแนวทางในการเสริมสร้างและขยายความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ มหาวิทยาลัยชาร์ลส์ และมหาวิทยาลัยมาซาริก โดยมุ่งเน้นความร่วมมือด้านพันธุศาสตร์ทางการแพทย์ พันธุศาสตร์กะโหลกศีรษะและใบหน้า โรคหายาก การพัฒนาโครงการวิจัยร่วม การแลกเปลี่ยนทางวิชาการ ตลอดจนการพัฒนาความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันอย่างยั่งยืนในระยะยาว
การเดินทางเยือนและแลกเปลี่ยนทางวิชาการในครั้งนี้ สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ในการขับเคลื่อนความเป็นนานาชาติ ส่งเสริมการวิจัยแบบสหสาขาวิชา และยกระดับเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระดับโลก โดยเฉพาะในด้านพันธุศาสตร์ทางการแพทย์และพันธุศาสตร์ทางทันตกรรม

✨ Prof. Piranit “Nik” Kantaputra, Division of Pediatric Dentistry and Center of Excellence in Medical Genetics Research, Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, Chiang Mai University, was invited to deliver distinguished academic lectures entitled “Genetic Study of Rare Dental, Gingival, and Limb Anomalies.”
The lectures were held at the Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic, on September 7, 2026, and at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic, on September 9, 2026. 🇨🇿
The invited lectures highlighted advances in the genetic investigation of rare craniofacial, dental, gingival, and limb anomalies, with particular emphasis on the integration of clinical phenotyping, molecular genetics, and developmental biology in understanding rare human disorders.
🤝 In addition to the academic lectures, Prof. Kantaputra held discussions with faculty members and researchers at both institutions to explore opportunities for strengthening international research collaboration between Chiang Mai University, Charles University, and Masaryk University.
The discussions focused on collaborative studies in medical and craniofacial genetics, rare diseases, joint research initiatives, academic exchange, and the development of long-term institutional partnerships.
These academic visits further reinforce Chiang Mai University’s commitment to internationalization, interdisciplinary research, and the advancement of global academic partnerships in medical and dental genetics. 🧬
