🩵 May 8, 2026: Bringing Auspicious Blessings on the Occasion of the 88th Anniversary of Hua Chiew Hospital

✨ Prof. Emeritus Dr. Prasit Watanapa (4th from left), Chairman of the Executive Committee, and Mr. Vichit Chinwongsaworakul (3rd from left), Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of Hua Chiew Hospital, led executives, physicians, nurses, and hospital staff in paying respect to Luang Pu Tai Hong and the sacred objects of the hospital on the occasion of the hospital’s 88th anniversary.

🌸 The group also placed flower garlands on the donor statue in gratitude and remembrance of all donors who contributed to the construction of the hospital’s 22-story building at Hua Chiew Hospital.

🏥 Hua Chiew Hospital Welcomes Delegation from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan (R.O.C.)

✨ Dr. Monnapa Khunnarong (4th from right) and Dr. Surapong Vorasuwannarak (3rd from right), Medical Directors of Hua Chiew Hospital, together with the management team, warmly welcomed Dr. Lin Ching-Yi (5th from left), Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare, and the delegation from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan (R.O.C.).

🩵 Also present was Ms. Nina Kao Hsiao Ling (3rd from left, standing row), Chief Executive Officer of the Overseas Medical Mission Center, Changhua Christian Hospital, Taiwan, on the occasion of their visit to explore the hospital’s medical innovations.

💊 During the visit, Ms. Nonglak Jaiboon, Director of Nursing, and Dr. Suwit Wankaew, Assistant Medical Director, presented the Automated Medication Dispensing System at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This technology enhances medication management accuracy, reduces medication errors, and supports physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams in delivering faster and more efficient care for critically ill patients.

Hua Chiew Hospital Joins the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Thailand–China Diplomatic Relations “Teochew Relations”

On 21 March 2026, at the Teochew Association of Thailand, Hua Chiew Hospital, a social enterprise private hospital under the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, participated in this significant commemorative event.

🩺 Health services provided at the event included:
🔸 Blood glucose testing, blood pressure measurement, and health consultations by professional nurses
🔸 Exercise guidance and interactive skill-building games led by physiotherapists

On this occasion, the event was honored by the presence of:

💙 World Glaucoma Week (8 – 14 March 2026)
The Eye Center of Hua Chiew Hospital, led by Dr.Monnapa Khunnarong (4th from left), Medical Director, together with the medical team including Dr. Puangpetch Nakapong (3rd from left), Head of the Eye Center, Dr. Apipon Inopas (3rd from right), Glaucoma Specialist, and Dr. Poolthip Charoenphon (4th from right), Retina Specialist, along with the Nursing Management Team, jointly opened an activity booth 👀

✨ To raise awareness about eye health care, encouraging people to undergo glaucoma screening from an early stage. Glaucoma is known as a “silent threat” that may cause vision loss without noticeable symptoms. Early detection can help slow the progression of the disease and protect vision for a longer period.

🚪 Open House Welcoming Faculty Members and Students from Assumption College

❤️ Huachiew Hospital warmly welcomed Mr. Chai Terdphadungchai, Board Member of the Assumption Association, together with faculty members and students from Assumption College, on the occasion of a study visit to explore the hospital’s medical capabilities and its standardized health information management system, on par with leading private hospitals.

🌟 During the visit, the hospital showcased the expertise of its sub-specialty medical teams, including the Emergency Center, Dental Center, specialty clinics, and Intensive Care Units (ICU), along with advanced medical equipment and modern treatment technologies. The hospital also presented its Hospital Information System (HIS), TrakCare, which enables systematic, efficient, and secure patient data management in accordance with top hospital standards.

🩵 This study visit served as an inspirational bridge from seniors to juniors. The visiting group learned about the background and achievements of Professor Emeritus Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Chairman of the Executive Board of Huachiew Hospital and a distinguished alumnus of Assumption College.
