🐘Spent an amazing morning at Phuket Elephant Sanctuary - an ethical sanctuary for retired working elephants. Most are ladies over 50 years old (relatable!) and have injuries and other ailments.
🐘They also operate an elephant hospital to treat injured and sick elephants. This one had a broken leg and infected toenail.
Gratitude to the wonderful people caring for these beautiful animals and providing a safe place for them to heal and retire in genuine peace. 🙏

A sandstone Buddha statue head entwined within the roots of a Holy Bodhi tree. During the 1767 Burmese invasion of Ayutthaya many Buddha statues were destroyed - their heads smashed off. One head likely fell near a young bodhi tree, the roots growing around it over time, lifting and cradling the head. Today it sits as a powerful symbol of nature reclaiming ancient spirituality. 🙏

Feeling super chill after Ayurveda massage and Indian head massage. Yoga and Ayurveda are ‘sister sciences’ from the Vedic tradition, complimenting each other for balance of mind, body and spirit. Definitely feeling balance return. 🙏💚✨

Ancient Temple Ruins at Wat Mahathat in what once was the City of Siam. So much history here it seeps into the bones.

Old town Bangkok in the wet season. Feeling the humidity build until the sky cracks open in a downpour of relief. I feel so Alive.
