A complex revision rhinoplasty following previous rhinoplasty performed by another surgeon and multiple major traumas ‼️

There was no remaining septal cartilage or bone, resulting in severe loss of structural support.

We performed a comprehensive septal reconstruction using cadaveric rib cartilage, rebuilding the structural framework of the nose using our scarless safe rhinoplasty approach ✨

📐 We restored the severely over-resected bridge to create a higher, smoother and more masculine nasal profile, while establishing strong and stable tip support.

The entire reconstruction was performed using our technique—an especially valuable approach in complex revision and traumatic noses, as it avoids an external columellar incision and minimizes additional disruption to the soft-tissue envelope and its blood supply.

For the internal structural reconstruction, we used cadaveric rib cartilage, according to our patient’s preference. In revision rhinoplasty, whenever additional cartilage is required, we always offer our patients the choice between their own rib cartilage and cadaveric rib cartilage, and select the option together according to the patient’s preference and the needs of the case.

📚 Current scientific evidence indicates that cadaveric rib cartilage can provide clinical outcomes comparable to the patient’s own rib cartilage, with no consistent superiority of autologous rib demonstrated in overall safety and effectiveness.

Closed Rhinoplasty — 1.5 Years After!

It was a true honour to be trusted by my fellow surgeon for his rhinoplasty.

Our goal was to achieve a refined and natural result while carefully preserving the masculine features of his face. We performed a Closed Rhinoplasty, addressing the areas that required improvement without compromising his individual character.

At 1.5 years, I am genuinely very pleased with how natural and harmonious the long-term result looks.

Being chosen by my fellow doctors and surgeons for their own procedures always carries a special meaning for me.

Closed Revision Rhinoplasty + Lip Lift ✨

A powerful combination to enhance central facial harmony while preserving the patient’s individual identity.

In this case, my fellow colleague, who is also a doctor, our priority was to preserve the masculine features of his face while addressing several structural concerns:

• Nasal Deviation
• Significant Breathing Difficulty
• Dorsal hump
• Droopy nasal tip
• Increased upper lip–nose distance

Using the closed revision rhinoplasty techniques I have refined over the years, we were able to achieve a strong structural reconstruction using the remaining cartilage within the nose, without the need for rib cartilage harvesting and the additional donor-site morbidity it may involve.

The lip lift was performed at the same stage to shorten the upper lip and further improve the balance between the nose, lips, and chin.

Revision rhinoplasty is fundamentally a surgery of preservation and reconstruction: identifying the remaining usable cartilage, carefully mobilising it, and using it strategically to create a stable and harmonious nasal framework.

Revision rhinoplasty requires an advanced and meticulous approach: carefully identifying the remaining native cartilage, preserving and reusing it whenever possible, and rebuilding a strong and stable nasal framework.

This tissue-preserving philosophy is especially important in revision cases, where every piece of remaining cartilage can be valuable. When the available cartilage is insufficient to provide the necessary structural support, rib cartilage should, of course, be used.

As always, the goal is not to create a different face, but a refreshed, balanced and natural version of the same person. ✨
