Mental Health Awareness Week 💚
This year, many people across Iran and beyond are carrying deep grief, fear, uncertainty, and loss because of the current war situation. Behind every headline are families, children, displaced communities, and people trying to cope with trauma while continuing daily life.
Grief does not always look like crying.
Sometimes it looks like numbness, anger, exhaustion, difficulty sleeping, anxiety, guilt, or feeling emotionally disconnected.
In times of conflict and crisis, protecting mental health becomes just as important as protecting physical safety. This Mental Health Awareness Week, let’s remember:
• You are not weak for struggling
• Your feelings are valid
• There is no “correct” way to grieve
• Community, connection, and compassion matter
• Seeking support is a sign of strength
Please check in on one another gently.
A simple “How are you really doing?” can make a difference.
To those carrying invisible pain right now:
You do not have to carry it alone. 🤍
