✨Is it possible to simplify repair in complex incisional hernias?
The biggest challenge in large and complex abdominal wall hernias is bringing the abdominal muscles—which have retracted laterally and stiffened over time—back together at the midline. In my latest blog post, I wrote about innovative approaches that improve surgical success in these challenging cases. Thanks to these combined strategies, it is now possible to safely treat giant incisional hernias once considered ‘difficult to repair’—without the need for component separation techniques.
