🥗 Nutrition After Rhinoplasty
Good nutrition after rhinoplasty can support healing and help minimise swelling. 👃✨
💧 Stay well hydrated
Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
🥚 Eat protein-rich foods
Eggs, yoghurt, fish, chicken and other good protein sources support tissue healing and recovery.
🥣 Choose soft foods for the first few days
Soups, yoghurt, mashed vegetables and other easy-to-chew foods are ideal, especially during the first few days.
🧂 Reduce salt
Avoid very salty and processed foods, particularly during the first 1–2 weeks, as they may increase fluid retention and swelling.
🥦 Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables
A balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre supports your recovery.
🔥 Avoid very hot foods and drinks
Choose warm or cool foods during the first few days.
🥜 Avoid hard or difficult-to-chew foods
During the first week, avoid foods that require excessive chewing, such as hard nuts, tough meat and very crusty bread.
🚭 Avoid smoking
Smoking can negatively affect blood circulation and wound healing.
🍷 Avoid alcohol during the early recovery period
Alcohol may contribute to dehydration and swelling and can interact with some medications.
💊 Do not take unnecessary supplements or herbal products without discussing them with your doctor.
✨ Remember: There is no special “rhinoplasty diet.” A balanced diet with plenty of water, adequate protein and reduced salt is one of the best ways to support a healthy recovery.
👃 Healthy healing starts from within.
