Rhinoplasty involves two fundamental approaches: open and closed techniques.
Open rhinoplasty offers a wide surgical field, allowing greater control over anatomical structures which also makes piezoelectric devices easy to use. However, it comes with disadvantages such as visible scarring, nasal tip stiffness, and numbness.
Closed rhinoplasty offers a much narrower working space and demands greater surgical experience. In return, the absence of a scar and a more natural, mobile nasal tip provide a significant advantage. Yet this limited space has traditionally made it difficult to use piezoelectric devices in the closed technique.
This is where our developed technique Closed Piezo Rhinoplasty, or CloPi Rhinoplasty eliminates this long-standing limitation of closed rhinoplasty.
With the CloPi technique, we can now perform closed rhinoplasty using a piezoelectric device, just as in open surgery.
Our technique has been published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, one of the most respected journals in the field.
In short, CloPi Rhinoplasty is a method that combines the comfort of the closed rhinoplasty technique with the precision of piezoelectric technology.

When the upper lip elevates excessively during smiling, it can expose more gum tissue than is ideally proportionate. For many patients, this affects confidence and social comfort more than they’d expect.

For many years, facial rejuvenation surgery has had a significant gap. There has always been a group of patients who fell between two established procedures. They had too much skin laxity to achieve an optimal result with a temporal lift alone, yet they did not have advanced facial aging severe enough to justify a Deep Plane Facelift.

In reality, this “intermediate” patient population represents a large proportion of individuals seeking facial rejuvenation. Despite this, there has been no dedicated surgical solution specifically designed for their needs.

TemFa Lift has demonstrated excellent results, particularly in patients between 30 and 50 years of age with mild to moderate skin laxity and early descent of the midface and jawline. It provides meaningful facial rejuvenation without the need for a more extensive facelift procedure.

The development of TemFa Lift was built upon detailed anatomical research, extensive clinical experience, and rigorous scientific analysis. Our findings have now been recognized through international scientific publication.

We believe that TemFa Lift offers a new solution for this previously underserved patient population and represents an important step forward in modern facial rejuvenation surgery.

Yüz gençleştirme cerrahisinde uzun yıllardır önemli bir hasta grubu iki cerrahi yaklaşımın arasında kalıyordu. Bu hastalar, yalnızca bir temporallift ile yeterli fayda göremeyecek kadar belirgin doku sarkmasına sahipken, aynı zamanda derin plan yüz germe (Deep Plane Facelift) gerektirecek kadar ileri yaşlanma bulguları da taşımıyordu.

Aslında bu “ara hasta grubu”, yüz estetiği için başvuran hastaların önemli bir bölümünü oluşturmaktaydı. Buna rağmen, şimdiye kadar bu hasta profiline özel geliştirilmiş, etkili ve anatomik temellere dayanan bir cerrahi seçenek bulunmuyordu.

In our study, “Use of Piezoelectric Devices in Closed Structural Rhinoplasty,” we introduced CloPi (Closed Piezo) Rhinoplasty a structured surgical approach that combines the anatomical advantages of closed rhinoplasty with the precision of piezoelectric bone surgery.
The fundamental principles of this technique include:
• All osteotomies are performed using piezoelectric instrumentation in a precise and controlled manner.
• Trauma to the surrounding soft tissues is minimized.
• Wide surgical dissection provides enhanced visualization and greater control of the operative field.
• Bone modifications are carried out with millimetric precision, allowing for more accurate and predictable outcomes.
The primary objective of CloPi Rhinoplasty is to preserve the minimally invasive benefits of the closed approach while providing a more controlled, predictable, and anatomically sound method for bony nasal surgery.

“Use of Piezoelectric Devices in Closed Structural Rhinoplasty” başlıklı çalışmamızda tanımladığımız CloPi (Closed Piezo) Rhinoplasty, kapalı rinoplastinin anatomik avantajlarını piezoelektrik teknolojisinin hassas kemik şekillendirme özellikleriyle bir araya getiren yapısal bir cerrahi yaklaşımdır.
Bu yaklaşımın temel prensipleri şunlardır:
• Tüm osteotomiler piezoelektrik cihaz kullanılarak kontrollü ve hassas şekilde gerçekleştirilir.
• Çevre yumuşak dokuların travmatizasyonu en aza indirilir.
• Geniş cerrahi diseksiyon sayesinde anatomik görüş ve cerrahi hâkimiyet artırılır.
• Kemik şekillendirmeleri milimetrik doğrulukla uygulanarak daha kontrollü sonuçlar elde edilir.
CloPi Rhinoplasty’nin temel amacı, kapalı rinoplastinin minimal invaziv avantajlarını korurken, kemik aşamasında daha kontrollü, öngörülebilir ve anatomik olarak güvenli bir cerrahi sağlamaktır.

Extended lip lift technique is performed through anatomic reshaping of the lip muscle (orbicularis oris). In this case, the lip-to-nose distance was reduced from 26 mm to 19 mm, and direct manipulation of the perilabial muscles provided natural volume and elasticity to the lip contour. The result: not artificial, but revitalized and harmonious a genuinely rejuvenated smile.

🇹🇷 Extended Lip Lift

Extended lip lift tekniği, dudak kasının (orbicularis oris) anatomik şekillendirilmesiyle gerçekleştirilir. Bu vakada dudak-burun mesafesi 26 mm’den 19 mm’ye indirilmiş, perilabial kasların direkt manipülasyonu sayesinde dudak konturuna doğal volüm ve elastikiyet kazandırılmıştır. Sonuç: yapay değil, yeniden vitalite bulmuş, harmonik bir gülüş.

🇬🇧 One of the greatest refinements of Total Facial Rejuvenation surgery is making the surgical scars as inconspicuous as possible.
It is important to remember that every surgical incision leaves a scar as part of the natural healing process. The goal of plastic surgery is not to eliminate scars entirely, but to make them as subtle as possible by carefully concealing them within the hair bearing scalp and the face’s natural anatomical creases.
1-In Temporal Lift surgery, the incision is hidden within the hair bearing scalp, making the scar extremely difficult to notice.
2-In a Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift, the incision begins at the hairline in front of the ear, follows the natural contours of the ear, and extends behind it. This allows the scar to blend seamlessly into the face’s natural anatomical folds.
3-In a Deep Neck Lift, a small incision measuring approximately 3–4 cm is placed beneath the chin in a naturally concealed area. Over time, this scar typically becomes much less noticeable.

🇹🇷 Tüm yüz yenileme ameliyatında izlerin mümkün olduğunca belirsiz hâle getirilmesi, estetik cerrahinin en önemli inceliklerinden biridir.
Unutulmamalıdır ki vücuda yapılan her cerrahi kesi, iyileşme sürecinin sonunda bir iz bırakır. Plastik cerrahinin başarısı izi tamamen ortadan kaldırmak değil; onu mümkün olduğunca silik hâle getirmek ve doğal anatomik kıvrımlar ile saçlı deri içerisinde fark edilmeyecek şekilde gizlemektir.
1-Temporallift ameliyatında kesi izi, saçlı deri içerisinde yer aldığı için dışarıdan fark edilmesi son derece güçtür.
2-Derin Plan Yüz ve Boyun Germe ameliyatında ise kesi; kulak önündeki saçlı deri sınırından başlar, kulağın doğal kıvrımlarını takip ederek kulak arkasına uzanır. Böylece izler yüzün doğal anatomik çizgileri içine kamufle edilir.
3-Derin Boyun Germe ameliyatında ise yaklaşık 3–4 cm uzunluğundaki kesi, çene altındaki doğal gölgeli bölgede konumlandırılır ve zamanla büyük ölçüde belirsiz hâle gelir.

TemFa Lift is an original facial rejuvenation technique that has been accepted for publication in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (APS), one of the most prestigious peer-reviewed journals in the field of plastic surgery.
Developed through years of anatomical research, extensive clinical experience, and scientific analysis, the primary objective of this technique is to address some of the most significant challenges in facial rejuvenation surgery.
The fundamental principle of the technique is to access the facial retaining ligament system, one of the key anatomical structures responsible for facial aging, through the shortest possible incision. These retaining ligaments are then meticulously released within safe anatomical planes, allowing the facial soft tissues to be repositioned along their physiological vectors and securely fixed at their ideal anatomical locations.
