How are your massage sessions like? What to expect? 🤔

No matter what type of massage you book, before we start the session shortly, I ask and listen to see if I need to know any story related to body, muscles, bones, joints, posture, surgery operation, or sports injuries, etc.
💤 Once you lie down on the massage table, I start palpation and find tense and blocked areas all over the body, plus check whether all bones are anatomically aligned properly.
My holistic approach is to work on the body zone by zone for the best results.
👓 My primary focus is to help relieve the symptoms first and then go with the massage type according to your needs, such as Sports, Deep Tissue, or just a relaxing Swedish massage.

Analyzing movement through anatomical planes allows therapists to identify faulty mechanics, muscle imbalances, and compensatory patterns. Injury assessment and postural correction all rely on an accurate understanding of these planes.

Exactly, there is so much in our armpits. So it should be massaged so carefully, gently in the case of necessity to work such frozen shoulder syndrome, etc., otherwise it should be skipped as it is a very sensitive area. And it should not be part of deep tissue or sport massage at all, giving strong pressure leading to pain is not treatment but torture. It can get even worse. Those kinds of sensitive zones should be treated in deep pressure touch only by medical doctors, not massage therapists. 🙌
I am seeing lately, just for clicks and attention, extremely painful massages are being done armpits, which is totally wrong for our health. 💆‍♀️
Stay safe and work only with the certified massage therapists who follow the anatomy and core approved massage techniques. Showing power in the gym, not on the massage client's body, is the approach. 🤝
Right touch, right pressure after heating the muscles by listening to the muscles tone is always the safest and effective therapy. 🙏🫰

🤔 Why does the first muscle pain hit the neck, shoulders and chest zone?
🙋‍♀️Physically, we stress our neck a lot bending on screening our cell phones and during the day, we also spend most of on computers cause an uncomfortable posture and may even affect our breathing rate.
🎃 Mentally, the closest zone to our head is the neck and shoulders, so when we are under stress, the nervous system stimulates the closest zone to the brain for protection by tense muscles. Getting massages, keeping the right posture and remembering to breathe naturally are the keys to balancing our bodies.

Body-mind connection; tense neck and shoulders or any part of the body cause an uncomfortable physical situation that may lead to a confused mind and brain fog. Letting go of the tension by massage or other conscious practices clears out and helps have a focused mind supported by vital energy. That is why not only thoughts, stress, anxiety, and depression cause an uncomfortable body, but also harm our minds. That is the reason body, mind, and emotions are all connected. Firstly, body-focused physical therapy helps to improve and bring the clarity that we need. A relaxed body leads to a healthy mind. We humans, should be treated with a holistic approach all the way without dividing therapies.

Joints are one of the most important parts of our movement, even than muscles. We can move with damaged muscles, but a damaged joint would restrict a lot, so stretching and releasing joints will automatically release the muscles too. Shake and stretch removes all the tension in our body with naturally relaxed breath. Vibrating or shaking is the somatic part of relaxation in the massage.
