Proper care and the use of bandages are an important part of the healing process in otoplasty surgeries, which are performed to correct the appearance of protruding ears and reshape the ear structure.

📌 First week: The protective bandage should be changed regularly and worn continuously to protect the ears.

📌 Weeks 2–5: The bandage should be worn only at night to protect the ears while sleeping.

📌 Full recovery: After approximately five weeks in total, patients can resume their daily lives without the bandage.

However, the recovery process may not be the same for every patient, as the use of bandages and the recovery timeline are planned on an individual basis, depending on factors such as ear structure, tissue characteristics and the surgical technique used. ✅
