A look back at my Stress & Emotional Resilience workshop yesterday at Happy Place Manchester.
I really enjoyed hosting this session. I haven’t done a talk like this since my series with Anatome, and it reminded me just how much I love combining conversation, awareness and practical tools.
So much of what I do is about understanding what is happening to us, both mentally and physically, when we encounter difficult or stressful situations.
Learning to notice how stress shows up in our own bodies and minds is a really important starting point, and it’s different for all of us.
From there, we can start to explore how we think, how we respond, what we hold onto and, importantly, what we can do to create change.
It’s not always simple, and there’s no quick fix for stress or overwhelm. But having a better understanding of ourselves, alongside some simple tools we can return to, can really help us shift out of that place and find a little more balance.
Thank you to everyone who came along and shared the session with me. It was so lovely to breathe, move and explore this together.
