🚗🚗Nissan Note with IPDM Failure.🚗🚗
The Note in question killed two IPDM's, when the third was installed the garage owner he wanted some checks done before handing over the car to the customer.
❗️❗️If the vehicle killed two IPDM's there must be something going on with the power going to it ❗️❗️
✅All powers and grounds were checked and within tolerances.
✅Signals was compared between battery terminals and IPDM inputs and was consistent. Both terminal voltage and AC ripple.

❌ Battery test was done and revealed a faulty battery. (Battery test at the end of the video.)
It's been close to 4 weeks since this, the new battery seems to have solved the problem.

🔋 ⚡️Toyota Aqua Battery Pack Repairs⚡️ 🔋
Customer greeted with the famous POA80 (Replace Hybrid Battery Pack)
⚡️Capacity test was done previously by another technician and the result was 53%⚡️
✔️ Battery pack removed and loaner pack installed.
✔️ Battery pack load tested and results was 5 faulty modules. Other 15 modules was weak but can be reconditioned.
✔️Corroded bus bars replaced with new nickel plated bars.
✔️ Faulty modules replaced, battery pack reconditioned, charged balanced and reinstalled.
🚗 Capacity test done after installation, 99.34%🚗

🔋 ⚡️ A customer purchased a battery pack they wanted verification the cooling fan is operating properly since they were previously advised their cooling fan is "not spinning fast enough" and this was the reason for the failure of their original HV battery pack. ⚡️ 🔋
✔️ 50% duty cycle signal was simulated through the DLC port.
✔️All signals to the cooling fan were scoped and analyzed.
✔️ Findings 50% was sent which was 47.74% at the fan. The fan output was measured at 47.74% therefore the fan was operating properly regardless of how slow it may seem.
