ChauFIT This is my personal drive to motivate and inspire people to take charge of their health and fitness. My slogan is "Go Till Fail" because that is now I train.

My country is going through a negative transition and I would like to help change that however I can. I felt that maybe if I can change how people think about themselves, they may change how they think about others. I am hoping to help T&T become healthier, both physically and mentally. I keep going until my body can't go anymore... that is the point of "fail". The most important word in this slog

an is "Go" because you have to remember that as long as you can go, you should keep going... never stop until you ABSOLUTELY cannot do any more. I am also an American Muscle & Fitness Certified Personal Trainer. Please note that ChauFIT does NOT condone the use of steroids or any dangerous performance enhancing drugs. These include, but are not limited to, steroids.

Soooo... I did a thing!!!

Last night, and hosted a workshop. Kalinda is the name of our local form of stickfighting. It was pivotal in the Kambule/Canboulay riots that won us the right to celebrate ourselves. It is our national martial art... and it is *awesome*!!!

The energy was so intense that I had to take off my shoes, and despite all the activity, I felt like if I left with more energy than I came with. I learned. I played a game (and won 😜🀣... I laugh because most of us were novices, so it was just 2 of us trying to grasp the concepts). Oh... and King Rato gave me a Bois!!!!!!!!!!

I did it because I'm a member of , and we *are* the bridge between older cultural expressions and newer vibes.
I did it because I'm a member of , so learning about Afrikan rituals, martial arts, spirituality is a part of me.
But, most of all, I did it because I just wanted to.... I am a proud πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ή, and I want to learn about our culture and history... it is in my blood!

Thank you,
Thank you, Kambule.
Thank you, Kalinda Kollective
Thank you, King Rato
Thank you, Mama Springer
Thank you, Atillah
Thank you, ancestors
Thank you, Orishas
Thank you, , for going with me and filming this.

Had some extra time in the gym yesterday, and I miss my wings, so I added some bent over rows to my workout. Still struggled with my 100 squats (fatigue from even before gym may have caused that), but the rest of the workout was more than doable... even added some pauses with my RDLs.

Basically... it's all about constant progress... keep going and see where you can get to 😊😊

Trying to keep that momentum going. I have goals... I keep saying it, and I'll say it again. Being a trainer doesn't mean you always have motivation. It means knowing that discipline is the difference between reaching those goals or complaining about not being there.

Yesterday was the first day of my son's MTB training... thank you and for a GREAT first session.

We did:
🚡🏼 Pump Track
🚡🏼 North Bank
🚡🏼 South Bunker (although I couldn't do that one because a child was struggling, so I took him straight out from marker 5 β€” being a coach means taking care of your charges and making sure they're okay)
🚡🏼 Baby Snake
🚡🏼 and then the kids went back into the end of Baby Snake to do the last big drop
🚡🏼 Back kn the road for a quick return tk Samaan Park

It was fun!

This morning (2nd and 3rd imgs), I did just over a half-mile (actually hit 880 m) jog after working with a client in Eddie Hart.

Honestly, it felt good! I feel like im getting back there!

Anyway, going down by my Instructor to do some Capoeira... shout out to my school .

Saturday, I started back calisthenics, and yesterday I started back in the gym (at ). I'm on to my Muscular Endurance cycle... and it was *TOUGH*!!! Missed it, though, and loved getting back in to the gym.

Here's my workout:

πŸ‹πŸΏβ€β™€οΈ 5 sets of 20 reps of back squats w/185 lbs (approx. 84% of my body weight)
πŸ‹πŸΏβ€β™€οΈ 3 super sets of 8 pull ups (with mountain climbing grips) and 10 dumbbell chest press with 70 lbs d/bells
πŸ‹πŸΏβ€β™€οΈ 3 sets of 10 Romanian Deadlifts (RDLs) with 80 lbs d/bells

Now, I'm sore 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣

Life.... just....... happens..... that doesn't make us victims, but it *does* mean we have to navigate what's going on around us.

I have to admit that sometimes I'm better at it than other time.... this time I wasn't. I stopped formal training for 3 weeks and alllll training for 2 of those 3 weeks.

But I also know that I need to keep going.... for myself and for my son. So, this morning while waiting on a client, I did some scap pulls and some struggle pullups.... that motivated me to go home and add in some squats and pushups.

Even us trainers are a work in progress....

Anyway, I'm going to try to post more and connect with you all more.

How's 2026 going for you so far? 😊😊😊
