🧠 Did you know? HBOT may play a role in supporting patients with certain neurological conditions?

From traumatic brain injury, stroke and anoxic brain injury to cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, hyperbaric oxygen therapy is being explored and used in selected cases as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

During a hyperbaric dive, patients breathe concentrated oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure.

This allows more oxygen to dissolve into the bloodstream and reach tissues that may have reduced oxygen availability. For neurological conditions, HBOT may help support oxygen delivery, reduce inflammation and swelling, and support cellular function and the body’s natural repair processes.

Every patient is different, and HBOT is not appropriate for every condition or individual. A consultation with our Certified Hyperbaric Physician is the first step so we can review your medical history, current condition and any pre-existing medical conditions before determining whether HBOT may be appropriate.

📞 Call 868-658-1402 or 868-799-1402 to schedule a consultation.

Hot flashes. Poor sleep. Brain fog. Fatigue. Mood changes. Headaches. Feeling like your body just isn’t quite itself anymore?

Menopause can bring a range of physical and cognitive changes that can affect how you feel, function and go about your day. And while every woman’s experience is different, you don’t have to simply accept feeling your best is behind you.

So, where may HBOT fit in?

By increasing the amount of oxygen available to the body, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy may support circulation, tissue repair, reduce inflammation and promote overall brain and cellular function; areas that may be relevant to some of the changes experienced during menopause.

However, HBOT is not a replacement for medical care or menopause management.

A consultation is required before treatment so our Certified Hyperbaric Physician can review your medical history, discuss your symptoms and determine whether HBOT is appropriate for you, including any pre-existing medical conditions that may require special consideration.

Your menopause journey is personal. Your care should be too. 💜

ICYMI: We treated our first case of Decompression Sickness also known as "The Bends".

Last week, our team provided emergency hyperbaric treatment to a professional diver diagnosed with Type II Decompression Sickness following a diving incident in Tobago.

After two consecutive days of treatment in our Class A hard-shell chamber, the patient was cleared for discharge.

This milestone reinforces why access to specialized hyperbaric medical care matters, especially when time is critical.

We’re proud of our team and grateful to play our part in advancing hyperbaric care in Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean.

Living with Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease can be physically and emotionally challenging, with symptoms that often disrupt daily life and overall well-being.

As part of a comprehensive treatment plan, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) can help support healing by increasing oxygen delivery to inflamed tissues, helping to reduce inflammation, and promoting the body's natural repair processes.

While HBOT is not a cure for inflammatory bowel disease, it may be considered for certain patients as an adjunctive therapy under medical supervision.

The first step is a consultation with one of our Certified Hyperbaric Physicians, who will assess your condition and determine whether HBOT may be appropriate for your individual needs.

📅 Book your consultation today to explore your treatment options.

📞 Call 868-658-1402 or 868-799-1402.

Some conditions aren't always easy to talk about, but they still deserve expert care.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) can support healing by improving oxygen delivery to tissues affected by reduced blood flow or radiation damage. As part of a comprehensive treatment plan, HBOT may be considered for conditions including:

• Radiation cystitis
• Radiation proctitis
• Radiation enteritis
• Anastomotic leaks (adjunctive)
• Ischemic bowel injury (adjunctive)
• Perineal wound breakdown following pelvic radiation
• Infertility*
• Erectile Dysfunction (ED)*
