🚻 LET’S TALK BLADDER HABITS: HOVERING

Ladies, we get it—you’re not always comfortable using a public bathroom. 😅

But constantly hovering over the toilet seat can make it difficult for your pelvic floor muscles to fully relax.

If you can, use wipes, cover the seat with toilet paper, and sit down. Give your pelvic floor the chance to relax while you go.

Small bathroom habit, big difference! 💙

🎥 Watch Dr. Nicole De Freitas explain why hovering may not be your best option.

🚻 LET'S TALK BLADDER HABITS

Do you find yourself having a “just in case” p*e before leaving the house—even when you don't really need to go?

It may seem harmless, but regularly emptying your bladder before it's full can train your bladder habits around smaller volumes.

As Dr. Nicole De Freitas explains, a 2–4 hour urinary frequency can be a good general guide for many people.

So, next time you're about to leave, ask yourself: “Do I actually need to go, or am I just going just in case?” 👀

🎥 Watch the video and let us know—are you guilty of the “just in case” p*e?

❌ Myth: "If the pain goes away, my ACL must be healed."
✅ Fact: Pain doesn't always tell the whole story.

Some people with an ACL injury are able to walk and even return to daily activities, despite the ligament remaining torn. That's why relying on symptoms alone can be misleading.

A thorough physiotherapy assessment looks beyond the pain to evaluate your knee's stability, strength, movement, and function. The sooner you understand what's really happening, the sooner you can begin the right rehabilitation plan.

Don't guess when it comes to your health—get the facts.

⚽ Warm up. Stretch. Protect your knees.

A proper warm-up and stretching routine helps prepare your muscles and joints for movement, reducing stress on the ACL and lowering your risk of injury. Whether you're training or competing, a few extra minutes of preparation can go a long way.

Stay game-ready. Stay injury-free.

⚠️ Not every knee injury is "just a sprain."

An ACL injury can happen during sports, exercise, or even a sudden twist while walking or stepping off a curb. Recognizing the warning signs early can make a big difference in your recovery.

Common signs include:
✔️ A popping sensation at the time of injury
✔️ Rapid swelling
✔️ Your knee feels like it's giving way
✔️ Pain when twisting or changing direction
✔️ Feeling unstable while walking

If you're experiencing any of these symptoms, don't ignore them. An early assessment can help identify the problem and guide you toward the right treatment plan.

🦵 Strong ACL rehab starts with waking up your quads.

After an ACL injury or surgery, the quadriceps muscles often "switch off." Early activation helps restore knee stability, improve movement, and lay the foundation for a successful recovery.
Every strong comeback starts with the basics.
