Meet baby A (such a cutie pie🙂) who was born with Erb's palsy, following complications during delivery. Erb's palsy is a condition where there is decrease shoulder movement and strength because of damage to the brachial plexus. The brachial plexus (BRAY-key-el PLEK-SIS is a network of nerves near the neck that give rise to all the nerves of the arm. These nerves provide movement and feeling to the shoulder, arm, hand, and fingers.
If you look carefully, you'll notice decrease movement of the right shoulder.
