"Health Minister Dr Lackram Bodoe has warned about a childhood obesity crisis in Trinidad and Tobago, claiming that about one in four children is overweight or obese, and stating his suspicion that the true figure is higher.

The most recent data from the World Obesity Federation (WOF) report for T&T show that, if anything, Minister Bodoe understated the problem."
