兒子今天第一天上學。
來到一個新的國家、走進一所新的學校，
一切都是陌生的，卻也是一個嶄新的開始。

今天的花磚日曆是「浮紋」。
細細的紋理、不同的色彩，
就像生活裡每一個看似平凡的日子，
慢慢拼湊成屬於我們的新篇章。

願你帶著勇氣與好奇心，
去認識新的朋友、學習新的事物，

前幾天是便宜的豬腰子，
今天換成特價牛肋排❤️

生活不一定要照著菜單走，
有什麼好料，就把它變成一桌好菜🍲

Buy what’s on sale, cook what we find!

Especially as a new immigrant,
every grocery trip feels like opening a surprise box ✨
A few days ago: bargain pork kidneys.
Today: discounted beef ribs. ❤️

just good finds, a little creativity,

🇹🇼在老公朋友的 Cottage 度假🏖️

眼前是比台灣大得多的休倫湖，
遼闊得像一望無際的大海。

吹著湖風、聽著浪聲，
翻著從加拿大圖書館借來的中文書，
學習教養，也學習陪伴。

原來最美的假期，
不只是去了哪裡，
而是在最舒服的地方，讓心也一起成長。💛

🇨🇦A peaceful getaway at our friends’ cottage. 🏖️

Sitting by the shore of Lake Huron,
a lake so vast it feels like the ocean.

With the breeze, the gentle waves,
and a Chinese parenting book borrowed from the local library,
I’m learning not only about raising a child, but also about growing alongside him.

Sometimes, the best vacations aren’t about where you go—
they’re about giving your heart the space to grow. 💛

🇹🇼飛往加拿大的路程，真的比想像中還要漫長。✈️🇨🇦

睡了一下、看了幾部電影、玩了幾場遊戲，
還好，還有編織一路陪著我。
一針一線，讓漫長的飛行多了一份熟悉的安心。

最讓我驕傲的，是 Maple。🐾🤍
第一次搭這麼長程的飛機，全程安靜又乖巧，非常配合。
看著她一下飛機就開始探索新環境，感覺她也很快喜歡上加拿大的新家。

新生活正式開始。
第一天最大的挑戰不是搬家，而是凌晨三點就因為時差清醒了。😂

慢慢適應、慢慢安頓，
期待把這裡也過成家的模樣。❤️

The journey to Canada was even longer than I imagined. ✈️🇨🇦

I slept a little, watched a few movies, played some games…
and thankfully, I had my crochet project to keep me company.
Every stitch brought a little piece of comfort from home.

The biggest star of the trip was Maple. 🐾🤍
For such a long flight, she was incredibly calm, quiet, and cooperative.
As soon as we arrived, she started exploring every corner of our new home, and it already feels like she’s settling in beautifully.

A brand-new chapter begins.
Our first challenge wasn’t unpacking—it was waking up at 3:00 a.m. thanks to jet lag. 😂

One day at a time, one box at a time, one stitch at a time.
We’re slowly turning this new place into home. ❤️ 🇨🇦

📦 搬家忙碌中，總要偷個五分鐘。
站在水槽前直接開吃一顆芒果，就是今天最大的幸福。🥭

芒果富翁倒數中，
再不吃就要飛去加拿大了。🇹🇼✈️🇨🇦

In the middle of packing and moving, I stole a few minutes just to enjoy a mango by the kitchen sink. 🥭

Sometimes happiness is that simple.

Counting down my last days as a “mango millionaire” before moving from Taiwan to Canada.

搬家倒數三天，
特地再來吃一次從小吃到大的民生蒸餃、酸辣湯，還有每次都一定要點的小菜❤️

熟悉的味道，還是一樣沒有變。
原來真正讓人捨不得的，不只是食物，
而是那些陪著自己長大的回憶。

今天也收到朋友親手畫的祝福，
把滿滿的心意一起帶著，迎接人生的新篇章。

謝謝一路陪伴我的人。

🇨🇦Some flavors have the power to take you right back to childhood.

Only 3 days before we move, so I had to come back for one more meal—my favorite dumplings, hot and sour soup, and all the classic side dishes I’ve loved since I was little. ❤️

The taste hasn’t changed at all.
Maybe what I’ll miss most isn’t just the food,
but the memories that grew with it.

Today, I also received a beautiful painting and heartfelt wishes from a dear friend.
I’ll carry those blessings with me as I begin a new chapter in Canada. 🍁

Visa paperwork, catching up with friends, a good meal, and then straight back to Taichung.

Just thinking about a same-day round trip sounds exhausting… and honestly, it was. 😆

What could have been hours of travel turned into a little pocket of creative time.
