🦴 台灣骨鬆 AI,登上歐洲放射學權威期刊!
柏瑞醫(Biomedica)攜手日本獨協醫科大學埼玉醫學中心,讓骨鬆 AI 輔助診斷模型「AIXA Osteo」在日本真實臨床環境完成外部驗證,成果正式發表於國際期刊《歐洲放射學雜誌》(European Journal of Radiology)。
這不只是一次發表,而是台灣醫療 AI 走向世界的一步。跨國部署最難的,從來不是模型準不準,而是這兩道門檻:
🌟日本遵循低輻射原則(ALARA),X 光影像雜訊高、對比低,骨骼紋理難辨識
🌟 日本使用本國族群骨密度資料庫,與國際通用標準不同,直接套用會造成系統性偏差
AIXA Osteo 系統性地跨越了這兩道門檻,建立起「本地開發、海外驗證」的可複製典範。

🦴 Taiwan's osteoporosis AI just made it into a leading European radiology journal!
As the world enters a super-aged society, fragility fractures caused by osteoporosis are becoming one of the heaviest challenges in elderly care.
Biomedica has partnered with Dokkyo Medical University Saitama Medical Center in Japan to complete external validation of our osteoporosis AI diagnostic model, "AIXA Osteo," in a real-world Japanese clinical setting. The results are now published in the European Journal of Radiology.
This isn't just a publication. It's a step forward for Taiwan's medical AI on the global stage.
The hardest part of cross-border deployment was never about how accurate the model is. It was about clearing two key hurdles:
🌟Japan follows the ALARA low-dose radiation principle, meaning higher image noise and lower contrast, which makes bone texture features far harder to detect
🌟 Japan uses its own ethnic bone-density database rather than the international standard, so applying the model directly would cause systematic bias
AIXA Osteo systematically cleared both hurdles, establishing a replicable model of "developed locally, validated abroad."🌏 Starting from Taiwan. Next stop: Korea, Australia/New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
