Produced by Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council, the video features healthcare professionals at the forefront of home care. It highlights how multidisciplinary medical teams are extending care beyond hospital walls and providing professional, patient-centered services directly to older adults and patients in their own homes.

By integrating healthcare and technology, Taiwan continues to develop more accessible and continuous models of care—helping patients receive the support they need while remaining in familiar surroundings.

This week, we’re delighted to celebrate the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with 𝗦𝘁. 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲’𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗰. St. Luke's Medical Center, marking the beginning of a new chapter in healthcare collaboration between Taiwan and the Philippines.

Today, we were delighted to welcome a Ukrainian parliamentary delegation to the Taiwan International Healthcare Training Center (TIHTC) at Taipei Hospital, MOHW, for a meaningful exchange on healthcare workforce development, smart healthcare, and international collaboration🏥🤝

The delegation visited Taipei Hospital’s newly established Digital Integration Center (DIC)💡📊and learned more about Taiwan’s experience in data-driven hospital management, digital health, and AI-powered clinical decision support.

We were also glad to exchange ideas on rehabilitation, mental health, digital healthcare solutions, and future opportunities for Taiwan–Ukraine healthcare collaboration💙💛

His presence highlighted the importance of Taiwan–Philippines collaboration in public health, digital health, and the future development of AI applications in healthcare systems.

Throughout the program, participants explored a wide range of topics, including AI and machine learning in health, data governance and privacy, AI for public health surveillance and outbreak prediction, natural language processing, image and signal processing, predictive modeling, dashboard visualization, and Taiwan’s best practices in AI and digital health.

The program also included valuable site visits to institutions and innovation hubs such as Taiwan CDC, Taipei Bioinnovation Park, and medical centers, offering participants a closer look at Taiwan’s experience in digital health transformation, public health systems, and healthcare innovation.
