ung Medical System, is designed to be a district hospital capable of providing treatments to patients including acute and servere conditions. With its core value of “treating patients with professional care and compassion”, the hospital has major departments from Cardiology, Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Chest Medicine, Orthopedics to Rehabilitation and even provides specialized therapies requiring cross-department effort like integrated therapy to treat stroke and hyperbaric oxygen therapy for treating wound care; . The hospital also adopts the leading and innovative technologies and skills to advance the gastroscope procedure to treat gastroesophageal reflux and enhance the effectiveness in the neurology repair and pain management. The hospital has been further developing “smart care” lately through, introducing AI system to facilitate the diagnosis in lung cancer and depression, and becoming the first hospital to apply 5G AR smart glasses in emergency and telehealth in Taiwan. The hospital has long been committed to its social responsibility by taking care of underprivileged groups and its continuous effort towards patients and the underprivileged groups has exhibited a remarkable result, gained acknowledgements widely and received the SNQ Award from IBMI. Ko-Shih Chang, Group Superintendent of Yuan-Rung Medical System, has personally received several awards including the National Medical Dedication and the first medal to civilians from Veterans Affairs Council of Executive Yuan for his unceasing contribution.
