In the fight against cancer, early detection remains one of our most powerful tools. Through our cervical, breast, and prostate cancer screening outreaches, we reach community members with vital screening services, health education, and hope. Together, we are building healthier communities and saving lives through prevention and early intervention.

With sincere gratitude, we thank all our partners, supporters, donors, volunteers, healthcare workers, and community members who make these cancer screening outreaches possible.

From Ireland to Rays of Hope Hospice Jinja, with love ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful women of the knitting club in Ireland who are pouring their time, talent, and compassion into creating beautiful hats, blankets, teddy bears, and children’s clothing for the children and families supported by RHHJ.

Every stitch carries warmth, kindness, and hope across the miles. Your generosity reminds us that love knows no borders and that even the smallest handmade gift can bring comfort and joy to a child.

We are deeply grateful for your dedication and the care you put into every item. Together, we are making a difference one stitch at a time.

While Uganda continues to respond effectively to the recent Ebola outbreak, the demand for palliative care services across Busoga continues to grow.

At Rays of Hope Hospice Jinja, we have enrolled 457 new patients in the first five months of 2026—a 31% increase compared to the same period last year. Our teams have already made over 4,000 patient contacts, providing pain relief, symptom management, emotional support, and dignity-focused care.

One recent home visit brought hope to a young woman recovering from colon cancer surgery when our team provided colostomy bags that greatly improved her comfort, confidence, and quality of life.

As fuel prices continue to rise, reaching patients in remote communities becomes more challenging, but our commitment remains unchanged.

Thank you for standing with us as we bring hope, dignity, and compassionate care to patients and families across Busoga. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us continue this vital work.
