Love is not s*x. Even strangers can have s*x. Love is sacrifice, patience, and choosing someone daily. It’s listening when tired, forgiving when hurt, and showing up when it’s hard to stay.

LIE IN PEACE

1. Have moments in your marriage when you cuddle without saying a word

2. Moments when you are just lazy in bed together

3. Moments when you are not touching the phone but touching each other

4. Moments when you are naked together, physically and emotionally

5. Moments when you lie on the chest and feel the heart beat

6. Moments when you are talking soul to soul, heart to heart, not about bills and responsibilities

7. Moments away from the children, friends, clients and in-laws

8. Moments of companionship not conflict

9. Moments when you pull your spouse closer to you

10. Moments when you love with all the five love languages: physical touch as you rub your fingers on your spouse's skin, quality time where you give your spouse attention, words of affirmation where you tell your spouse how much he/she means to you, acts of service where you serve your spouse intimately, gifting as you gift your spouse the gift of your presence that money can never buy

A husband’s primary role is leadership and that includes correcting you when you are wrong. It is a basic and fundamental right.

Unfortunately, many women today want to have the right to be married and do whatever they wish.

Please listen, if you are unwilling to listen or be corrected when you are wrong, you have no business going into a marriage.

There will be others who will applaud you on social media for being unruly but ultimately, when you put your phone down, it’s your marriage and home that will be negatively affected.

You picked the husband of your free will. Yes, have a voice, have an opinion, but understand the dynamics of the family formed.

You can bring up excuses but deep down, even you would know that if you are unwilling to listen or take correction, you’d probably struggle in the marriage.

People can present it to you as being ‘woke’ but there’s nothing nice about a marriage broken especially because of your behaviour.

Hello Singles, are you waiting for the Right Person. As you wait, kindly do the following.

•Strengthen Your Relationship with God: Use this time to deepen your faith. Engage in prayer, Bible study, and worship. A strong spiritual foundation can prepare you for a healthy, God-centered relationship.

•Pursue Personal Growth: Work on personal development. This can include pursuing education, building a career, developing hobbies, or improving life skills. A well-rounded individual often attracts a similar kind of partner.

•Serve in Your Church: Get involved in church activities. This not only allows you to contribute positively to others' lives but also might lead you to meet like-minded individuals.

•Cultivate Meaningful Relationships: Build strong relationships with family and friends. These relationships can provide support, guidance, and joy in your life, regardless of your relationship status.

•Understand Your Values and What You Seek in a Partner: Reflect on what qualities are important to you in a partner and what values you want your relationship to be based on. This will help you in making wise choices when dating.

•Practice Contentment: Learn to be content in your current stage of life. Contentment brings peace and happiness, which is attractive to others and beneficial to you, whether single or in a relationship.

•Stay Physically Healthy and Sexually Pure. Take care of your physical and mental health. Exercise regularly, eat healthily, and seek emotional healing and maturity. Abstain from s*xual impurity.

•Set Boundaries: Understand and establish your personal boundaries in relationships. This includes physical, emotional, and spiritual boundaries that align with your Christian values.

•Pray for Your Future Spouse: Even if you haven’t met them yet, pray for your future partner. Pray for their growth, well-being, and that your paths will cross at the right time.

•Be Open to God’s Plan: Remain open to the ways God might work in your life. This can include unexpected opportunities or paths, so be receptive to His guidance, even if it leads in an unanticipated direction.

Contentment in Marriage.

After you get married, you’re going to meet ‘better’ people than your spouse. You’re going to meet more good-looking people; kinder and more romantic people; more intelligent and funny people. You will meet people who have in abundance what your partner lacks. The mushy and romanticized idea that your partner will be everything to you, and will satisfy all your needs and wants is idolatry. Contentment in marriage is a virtue not often spoken about.

You must wake up every day appreciating everything your partner is to you, everything they have, their beauty and the things that made you marry them because if you focus on everything they don’t do well, you’ll always meet better people. Protect your heart! See their best part, and always remember that your commitment to marry is more of a duty than it is of mushy feelings. You have to stay committed even on the days you feel your spouse is no longer the best fit for you…
