Alive Medical Services (AMS) is a non-profit medical centre that provides free HIV testing, care, treatment, counselling and support alongside SRHR services for over 17,000 HIV-positive patients every year. Strategically located in Namuwongo, one of Kampala’s most densely populated and impoverished neighbourhoods, AMS’ doors are always open. In 2007, AMS started with just six clients – but today,

AMS has become one of the highest-volume HIV clinics in Uganda. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, doctors, clinicians, and nurses serve patients with love and dignity, operating under the belief that every person deserves to live a healthy life. To Donate:

18 years ago, I started to support Africa’s most vulnerable women and children. Today, our continent faces a devastating crisis.

CRITICAL UPDATE:
• The dismantling of USAID and cuts to U.S. foreign aid have severely disrupted global HIV/AIDS programs in Africa
• Our friends at Alive Medical Services in Uganda have lost ALL funding
