This is more than a shape on a mat.
This is a moment where your mind whispers, "Are you ready to fly?"
And your body responds...not with fear. But with breath.

Crow is a quiet rebellion against doubt. A celebration of every failed attempt that still dares to rise again.

Balance is not stillness.
It's alive.
It breathes with you.
It trembles with truth.

So when your knees press in,
When your heart learns forward,
When your toes hover just above the earth -
Know this:

You are not pretending.
You are remembering.

Remembering that you are capable.
That you are the pose.
That you are the practice.
That you are the power.

And all of this..
Begins....
With just....
One.....
Breath.

See you on the mat......

thank you for these beautiful colorful yoga mat that keeps me everyday to have a reason to get up and practice.

If you don’t spend enough time getting to know yourself, you’ll end up absorbing everyone else’s definition of you.

You owe it to yourself to live a life that’s yours.

I saw a video on TikTok the other day, and it said, “If you don’t spend enough time getting to know yourself, you’ll end up absorbing everyone else’s definition of you.” And it hit me—how often do we let that happen? How often do we let the world, our friends, our families, even strangers, tell us who we are?

Think about it.

If you don’t take the time to figure out what you love, what you stand for, and what makes you come alive, someone else will decide it for you. And the scary part is, you might not even notice it happening. One day you’ll wake up and realize you’ve been living a life shaped by everyone else’s opinions—except your own.

It doesn’t happen all at once. When someone tells you, “You’re too sensitive,” so you stop expressing your emotions. Or when they say, “You’re so quiet,” so you force yourself to speak even when you don’t want to. Or when they imply you’re not enough as you are, so you spend years trying to be someone else.

And for what? To please them? To fit in? To feel worthy?

Let me tell you this: no one else gets to define you. Not your friends, not your parents, not society. Only you can do that. But here’s the thing—it takes work. It takes sitting with yourself, asking hard questions, and being brutally honest about what you want and who you are. It’s not easy. It’s messy, uncomfortable, and sometimes lonely. But it’s worth it.

Because the alternative? It’s living your life like a mirror, reflecting everyone else’s expectations but never showing your true self. It’s waking up one day and realizing you don’t even know who you are anymore.

So, I’m asking you, right here and now: When was the last time you spent time getting to know yourself? When was the last time you asked yourself, “What do I really want? What makes me happy? What do I believe in?”

If you don’t have the answers yet, that’s okay. But start asking. Start paying attention to the things that light you up and the things that drain you. Start saying no to what doesn’t feel right, even if it disappoints others. Start saying yes to the parts of yourself you’ve ignored for too long.

You owe it to yourself to live a life that’s yours. A life where you know who you are and stand firm in it. Because the world will always try to tell you who to be. But you? You get to decide whether to listen.

Thanks so much iris ୨୧ and let me hear from the world what they think about this.

Hate it or not we will grow older. We will never be at this age again.

Isn’t it interesting how everything around us changes as time goes by? We often wish things would stay the same, but they naturally evolve and fade.

Think about the clothes we used to wear — they don’t fit us anymore. Our childhood toys, once cherished, have become mere memories, symbols of a time when our biggest worries were playtime and snack time. The experiences we once held close can feel fragmented, with some fading away entirely like distant echoes. The places we’ve visited have changed, too; they may look different or hold new stories that aren’t ours to tell. The photos we took serve as bittersweet reminders of our journeys and growth, capturing fleeting moments that now feel like snapshots of another life. Each picture tells a story of who we were and the people we shared those times with, yet they also highlight the inevitable passage of time.

Just as these things evolve, so do we. The phase of life we’re in now, filled with its own challenges and joys, will soon become just another memory. It’s a reminder that change is constant, and with each passing day, we are growing older.

We are all subject to the passage of time, reminding us that youth is fleeting and change is the only constant.

Time never stops. Every hour, minute, and second continues to move forward, regardless of our actions or desires. In metamorphic sense, our time on Earth is finite, and it could end at any moment. We can never truly predict when that will happen.

Time can feel like our enemy. It marches on relentlessly, even when we wish it wouldn’t. It’s like watching a sunset, hoping the night won’t follow, or wishing we could freeze moments just to savor them a little longer. But the truth is, the world keeps spinning, and time never pauses. As it flows forward, we inevitably grow older, reminding us that each fleeting moment is a treasure to be cherished.

To the one who is reading this, let this article be a reminder to enjoy life. I know everyone has different priorities — some are busy studying, others working — but don’t forget to take a break. Make time for the things you love.

Miss your friends? Spend time with them. Treat yourself to a date, whether it’s solo or with loved ones. Watch that movie you’ve been wanting to see, explore new places, or dive into a good book. Balance your responsibilities with activities that bring you joy. Speak your mind and, most importantly, learn to love yourself deeply.

Our time on this planet is limited, and we’re not getting any younger. Every day is precious, so make it a day worth remembering. Collect as many memories as you can and truly embrace life, because someday, you’ll look back and wish you had cherished those moments even more. So, while we still have the time, let’s savor life. Live in the moment, be free, and let’s make the most of our youth, because we are only young once.

Thanks

Congratulations to our Peace Coach of the Month of June-July Okurut George 🥳. He has been selected as the Coach of the Month for being one of the most active Coaches this year. Since he started coaching in March, has been rated excellent by his rebels and the positive feedback keeps coming in. He has been providing tremendous support to his region, strengthening and expanding the work there.

Here are his words:
We are the lights of each other in the journey of inner peace and happiness in this world. Why I say so is that I was once a peace rebel and I remember that moment when I wanted to give up on my own peace, my coach kept telling me that you can do it nothing is impossible if you are determined and committed to. That inspired me to also coach others to be like me and make in themselves and their communities the way, I am doing it now, we all want to be in peaceful environments with inner strength of peace.

My tips to everyone who is meditating or and those who are planning to start now, is that don’t give up. This is just a beginning step stone towards the goal of inner peace and strength we need in our lives to be able control our emotions. If I can do it, why not you now. Let’s work together towards the better world, we need to see each other in.

Thank you Okurut George for bringing your energy and presence into our rebels journey.

Peace Revolution Africa Peace Revolution thank you for giving me this opportunity to share with other peace rebels around the world 🌎

Nadi is called pulse and Shodhana means cleaning. Thus, this pranayama is being done since ancient times to clean the Nadis. It is said that Indian sages used to practice such yogic practices to keep themselves healthy. In simple words, Nadi Shodhana Pranayama is called Alternate Nostril Breathing Exercise, in which one has to breathe through one nostril, hold the breath, and then exhale through another.

𝑳𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝑶𝒃𝒔𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏

Recently, I heard a podcast of Naval Ravikant in which he was hosting. In that podcast, they discuss prescription and what makes a great athlete or an artist great.
He says, “Prescriptions are basically the how-to’s.” And what I took away from that Podcast is that even great athletes or artists don’t know how they do great things. It’s the obsession they have that makes them great.

Someone can tell you how to get somewhere, but you won’t be as great as them just by copying. You need that authenticity and obsession which will make all the difference.
For example, by copying someone’s diet and training you can’t become as great as that person. You need that obsession that you has for passion.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓?

It is just for living-end of story. Don’t try and make it more complicated than it needs to be. The only alternative to life is death. Hence, there is nothing to decide. Just get on living your life one day at a time the best way that you know how. There isn’t really anything else to do. After all, it will not last forever.

If you can erase your thoughts, if you can control your mind, if you are aware what do you think? If you are aware where your awareness goes, you can cultivate your energy and you can transform your life, thoughts and your whole being.

To think positive, you don’t need to listen a motivational speaker, or anyone. Simple method, Watch.

Sometimes you feel, you are watching some moments, you need to transcend or become aware about the watcher.

Once you learn, how to merge with the watcher who is watching your activities, you will soon find an eternal peace.

Thoughts can lead you to become a saint or an exhausted being. Choice is yours?

Be present in the moment and consider it your life. What’s gone, or what can happen or would be, doesn’t exist at this moment where you live. Find peace at this moment and keep acting.

White water tubing made me to feel more present in the moment because you need to jump off the tube when it gets on the falls.

I do remember that one moment when I jumped then the tube covered me, I felt like struggling how to come out of the water but I remembered I don’t need to struggle just to accept and float as I hold my breath while am in the water 💧 this applies to our daily life as you go through a lot of challenges don’t stress or depression just observe the situation, then accept it and live with it.

True transformation and growth come from stepping outside our comfort zones and embracing the unknown with courage and an open heart.

It is by daring to venture beyond the familiar boundaries that we discover new opportunities, experiences, and perspectives.

So take that leap of faith and explore, learn, and grow. Your future self will thank you!
