TESTIMONY FOR RECOVERING FROM ADDICTION .
For those that don't know me , am Richard Bushweta King a recovered Alcohol and Drug addict allow me share my testimony in 2021 one 2nd. Covid pandemic i was rehabilitated at BUHUMURIRO COUNSELLING CENTRE was going through Stress, Depression,Trauma, Anxiety,Grief and heartbreak it was alot on me, first week i was in ambivalence becoz of impaired dysfunction. The Counseling team helped me in the Psych social support, Detoxification, spiritual awakening i remember picking insights well and admitted I was powerless over alcohol and drug and my life was unmanageable. Seriously one's healing and recovery starts with Acceptance. Reflecting on my inner life i had a problem and felt i needed help ,that is where i made a turning point 💪. To cut the conversation short my recovery plan i studied a short course at BUHUMURIRO COUNSELLING CENTRE,Basic skills in Counselling and guidance that boosted my zeal 👌
Did my Internship at Kamukuzi division health centre 11 Kakiika Andrews in, did my final exam which i performed well,clever will Ki me 😂 ,went ahead asked for admission at St. Francis Counselor training institute/ University that was 01.10.2022 (intake )
Am now 06 years living Sober life 🙏 Glory be to God . Am passionate to Mental health becoz i really passed through alot ,my interest and passion was to help out my fellow Brothers and Sisters who out there are struggling with Addiction. Am the right person to talk to them and it's possible to beat addiction . I thank BUHUMURIRO COUNSELLING CENTRE and St. Francis Counselor training institute for the opportunity to train as professional Counselor & personal transformation.
