Today we celebrate International Day of the Midwife 🤍

As a midwife, I feel incredibly blessed to walk alongside women and families through some of the most powerful moments of their lives. Supporting pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey is more than a profession to me—it’s a calling rooted in trust, connection, and deep respect.

Midwifery care offers so many meaningful benefits:✨ Lower rates of unnecessary interventions✨ Personalized, continuous support✨ Strong outcomes for both birthing parents and babies✨ A focus on education, informed choice, and holistic care

I’m also so grateful to be surrounded by an amazing community of midwives here—each one bringing skill, compassion, and dedication to the families we serve. The impact of this work goes far beyond birth; it stays with families for a lifetime.

To my fellow midwives: it’s an honor to do this work alongside you. And to the families who trust us—thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey 💛

These precious little guys have stolen my heart from the moment we knew there were 2 until their last appointment with me. Their Mama prepared so beautifully and worked so hard for them with their Dad right by her side through all of it. And just because they graduated from care doesn't mean I won't see them again! We are now forever friends. 💙 💙
