Research shows that vitamin D deficiency is one of the most common and underdiagnosed conditions in seniors in skilled nursing. Low vitamin D is linked to increased fall risk, weakened bones, poor immune function, and depression. Randy has left the building! 🎤👑

Our resident Elvis has decided that It's Now or Never—he's heading home after a successful stay for skilled rehabilitation!
Randy certainly wasn't checking into the Heartbreak Hotel when he came to Abbotsford. Through hard work, determination, and a little Burning Love, he regained his strength, improved his independence, and gave a performance worthy of the King himself.
While some may have had Suspicious Minds about how quickly he'd recover, Randy went from being All Shook Up to confidently returning home safely. And while we can't help with Can't Help Falling in Love, we were proud to help reduce his fall risk and increase his safety and independence along the way.

This success was made possible through Randy's determination and the outstanding teamwork of our therapy and care teams. Congratulations, Randy—we're proud to see you heading home!

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!

Congratulations to Peggy on graduating from therapy! After a fall, Peggy worked hard with our therapy team to regain her strength and balance to achieve her goals.

Pictured with Peggy is our physical therapist, Angie, who celebrated CNA Week by personally treating our CNA team to pizza as a thank-you for the exceptional care they provide each day.

Peggy's success story highlights the incredible collaboration between all departments within the facility. When every discipline works together toward a common goal, our residents thrive.

While Peggy has completed skilled therapy, she will continue her journey with our Restorative Aide/Rehab Tech/"Jill of All Trades," Maya, who helps bridge the gap between therapy and nursing to maintain progress and support continued success.
