🍬 NEW PATIENT 101: EDIBLES — MG vs. GRAMS

With flower you usually hear about grams.

With edibles, you'll hear a lot more about milligrams (mg).

And there's an important difference. 👇

TOTAL MG = amount of THC in the ENTIRE package
MG PER PIECE/SERVING = amount of THC in ONE piece or serving

Example:

A package contains 10 gummies with 100mg THC total.

100mg ÷ 10 gummies = 10mg THC per gummy

So seeing 100mg on the package does NOT necessarily mean each gummy contains 100mg.

💡 1 gram = 1,000 milligrams

But when you're reading an edible label, pay close attention to whether the THC amount shown is per serving or per package.

Disposable vapes are all-in-one devices. The battery and cannabis oil are built together, so they’re ready to use—no separate battery or setup required. When the oil is gone, the entire device is discarded. Some are rechargeable, but they are not refillable.

510-thread carts are cartridges that screw onto a reusable 510-thread battery. Once the cartridge is empty, you replace the cart and keep the battery. Many batteries also allow you to adjust the heat level.

Quick comparison:

🔹 Disposable: Convenient, portable and ready to use
🔹 510 cart: Reusable battery, replaceable cartridge and often more heat control

Both offer convenience—the best choice depends on whether you prefer an all-in-one device or a reusable battery system.

The beginning of our Amsterdam trip started out quite .....but after consuming many coffee shop "treats" ..things started going south. 😆 🤣

Surprisingly MS treats are still 100% better.

The Amsterdam flower had a horrible taste and burned black. The edibles were OK. Nothing I would buy again but definitely effective, lol.

The only thing Id go back there for would be the croissants. 🔥

So next time you hear someone bash the flower quality in MS, tell em to try other states/countries. MS flower is some of the best!

Begin with the lowest serving recommended on the label or by your medical provider. Wait the full recommended amount of time before taking more—taking an additional gummy too soon can lead to an uncomfortable experience.

✅ Read the label and know your dose
✅ Avoid mixing with alcohol
✅ Never drive or operate machinery after use
✅ Store securely away from children and pets

With edibles, you can always take more later—but you cannot take less once it has been eaten.
