Welcome to Part 2 of our Greensboro Science center trip. We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we did the real sights. Part 1. The Arrival: We at Diligent Care hit the road again this time the Greensboro Science Center was our destination! Our guys loved it. If you have kids or just love science you need to put this on your to-do list. We didn't even get to finish seeing everything because we ran out of time!

As part of our strong emphasis on teaching daily living skills for both the home and the community, we at Diligent Care Inc offer what has come to be known as "Happy Kitchen". During "Happy Kitchen" a member of our staff gives a simple food prep presentation to the rest of us. This usually occurs on every other Wednesday unless there is another special event going on. On most occasions our individuals are encouraged to assist in the presentation. Ideas in the past have ranged from simple holiday crafty morsels up to full meals. During this occasion we were blessed to have our CEO, Mrs. Tammy Baldwin come and teach us how to make these delicious (trust me on this) Sliders and Glazed Brussel Sprouts. The aroma made sure everyone paid attention and the flavor made everyone wanted seconds. (And thirds if they could!). It was another successful event. Diligent Care would like to thank all of our staff who have and will continue to help with presentations, as well as, any community members that have graced us with their culinary talents!

Located right besides Union Pines high school in Cameron, NC is a little hidden spot that should be added to your places to go list. This is the home of an awesome self pick muscadine vineyard that our guys at Diligent Care have looked forward to going to for the past few years. They love being able to get out and pick them straight off the vine. This year's adventure into the vines occurred on September 20th and it was a blast and as you can tell from the pictures, the grapes were ripe and plentiful. We had a great time and the vineyard owners were great! They even participated in our group photo at the end of the trip. Looking forward to next year.
