I received my 15 Year Member pin from the American Massage Therapy Association in the mail today with a nice letter. An emotional moment, indeed.
15 years as an AMTA member with 10 years of that volunteering within our state chapter and an opportunity to volunteer during leadership event during a national convention has had a lot of deep meaning to me.
As the letter concludes:
“We grow when we put people first.”
True statement.

A weekend of continuing education in Rapid City!

Lots of ideas for implementing relief for headache, neck, ribcage and breathing issues due to tight muscles. A fun class with a different approach to relaxing of the muscles and allowing of space for the body to do its unwinding and healing.

Deep Tissue Massage is only as deep as your body comfortably allows.
If you are holding your breath, while receiving massage, it’s most likely too deep and not as successful as it could be.
Remember to communicate with the massage therapist about the pressure, so that it’s the right pressure for you. Each client’s body is different and each body can differ each day.
