We had such a great time visiting with everyone at The Mill and sharing the many ways to volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association. We are grateful to each person who took the time to join us. 💜 Caregivers deserve support, understanding, and a place to breathe.

Join us for the Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group on May 21 at 10 a.m. at Wesley Court Senior Living, 2617 Antilley Road, Abilene, TX 79606.

This group is a welcoming space where caregivers can share experiences, learn practical strategies, and connect with others who truly understand the challenges of caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia. No one should have to navigate this journey alone, and support groups often become a lifeline for families.

Whether you’re new to caregiving or have been walking this path for years, you are welcome. Your story matters, and your well‑being matters.

💜 You don’t have to do this alone. We’re here for you.

💜 The Final Fiesta of Abilene Gives has filled our hearts with gratitude.

For ten years, this community has shown up with generosity, compassion, and a shared belief that families facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias deserve hope and support. Being part of Abilene Gives throughout this decade has been an honor for our Abilene Regional Office. We are truly grateful for every donor, every advocate, and every person who has stood beside us in this mission.

As we celebrate this final year, we are reminded of why your support matters so deeply. Every gift fuels care and support services for local families. Every donation strengthens education programs that empower our neighbors. Every contribution helps advance critical research that brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s.

There is still time to make a meaningful impact. Your generosity today helps us finish this Final Fiesta strong and ensures that families in our community continue receiving the help they depend on.

Thank you, Abilene, for a decade of heart. Thank you for believing in this mission. And thank you for standing with us as we continue to serve, support, and bring hope to the Big Country.

💜 Give with purpose. Give with corazón. Give for every family we serve. https://www.abilenegives.org/organizations/alz
