We would like to send a huge Thank You out to all the folks at the Air Evac Southwest Regional Maintenance Office (AEL-SWRMO). We appreciate their hard work completing the scheduled maintenance not only for our base aircraft, but all the aircraft that make their way through there.

We are thankful to have had a spare aircraft in the meantime ensuring that we were still able to provide ACCESS to the Big Country.

Flying in the Bell 206 keeps us humble, never forgetting where we came from.

We appreciate the day pilot, Caleb Wade, who got her shined back up to AE63 standards this morning and was already providing ACCESS this afternoon.

May 24 – Aviation Maintenance Technician Day

Air Evac 63 is blessed to have one of the best AMT's in Air Evac. With only a few years with Air Evac he was in the top three finalist for AMT of the year. We are proud of him and what he represents.

We are proud of all the AMT's in our area as well as those who work at the Regional Maintenance Office's (RMO), and Maintenance Control. Many of those folks started out at a base as a base AMT prior to applying at a RMO. The RMO AMT's are responsible for all the in depth maintenance inspections for a region. Those who go on to work in Maintenance Control move into the office responsible for ensuring all paperwork has been properly documented and complete, quality control folks. We are truly blessed to have the help that these individuals provide on a daily basis across Air Evac.

As aircraft evolve with new technology, materials and designs, one thing remains constant: the essential work of aviation maintenance technicians. Today, GMR proudly recognizes our exceptional AMTs whose expertise keeps our crews and patients safe every single day. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety and dedication to excellence are at the heart of our air operations. Thank you for all you do and for the high standards you uphold on every flight.
