At this months Base Safety Meeting, Pilot Tom Bushek, was recognized for his incredible milestone of twenty five years of service to Air Evac Lifeteam.

He served in the Army as an Aircraft Armament and Missile Systems Repairer prior to attending flight school in the Army in 1982. I will save you the mental math, he has been flying for over 4 decades. After retiring from the Army he transitioned into the civilian flying as a HEMS pilot.

Tom, thank you for your outstanding commitment to this community and Air Evac. The countless families you have helped as a helicopter EMS (HEMS) pilot will forever owe you a debt of gratitude as you and the medcrew helped them on their worst day.

He was presented with a certificate and pin for his 25 years of service signed by Nick Loporcaro, CEO of GMR.

He was also presented with the Presidential Leadership Coin and Certificate signed by Steven Dralle, Regional President.

We are grateful for everything you have contributed over the past twenty-five years, Tom, and look forward to the next decade.
