💙 Every organization has someone whose kindness leaves a lasting mark.
At Serenity House, that person is Ms. Davye.
Ms. Davye first joined the Serenity House family in June 2006. After years of faithfully serving our clients and staff, she retired in May 2017. But thankfully for us (and for everyone who has had the privilege of knowing her) she returned in March 2020 as a part-time member of our direct care team.
She isn’t just an employee. She’s a calm in the storm. A listening ear. A steady hand. A safe place.
Her compassion is genuine, her work ethic is unmatched, and she has an incredible gift for making people feel seen, heard, and believed in. A conversation with Ms. Davye has a way of bringing comfort, hope, and peace when it’s needed most.
And if you know Ms. Davye, you know there’s one thing she’s just as loyal to as the people she serves, her Dallas Cowboys! 💙⭐ A true blue Cowboys fan through and through.
We are honored that so many clients have experienced her kindness throughout their recovery journey, and we’re even more grateful to call her part of the Serenity House family.
