💙 Exciting addition to PMCM! 💙

Our new colorectal cancer education displays have officially arrived and are now available throughout the clinic!

These digital flyers serve as an educational resource for our patients, providing information about:
✅ Colorectal cancer facts and prevalence
✅ Risk factors and prevention
✅ Recommended screening options
✅ Videos and educational content patients can view while at the clinic

Most importantly, they help connect eligible patients to FREE colorectal cancer screening through FIT kits and, when medically appropriate and eligible, FREE follow-up colonoscopies.

A huge thank you to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center's ACTION (Against Colorectal Cancer Together in Our Neighborhoods) Program for their continued partnership and commitment to improving access to life-saving screenings in our community.

Together, we're helping educate patients, encourage early detection, and remove barriers to care—one screening at a time. 💙

A big thank you to the The Salvation Army of Abilene, Texas for inviting us to their luncheon earlier today! 💙

We’re proud to partner alongside organizations doing incredible work to serve our neighbors and strengthen our community. We deeply appreciate all that the Salvation Army does each and every day for individuals and families across Abilene.

One thing we especially value about this collaboration is the opportunity once each month for our PMCM team to have an outreach clinic at the Salvation Army — meeting neighbors where they’re at and helping bring the mission directly to them.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to work together in serving the Abilene community! 💙

What a way to close out an incredible chapter. 💙

As we look back on this year’s Abilene Gives, we’re reminded just how powerful this day has been for our community over the past 10 years.

From 3,500+ donors and $2.26 million raised this year alone, to more than $16 million invested into nearly 200 nonprofits since 2017—the impact is nothing short of remarkable.

For organizations like Presbyterian Medical Care Mission, Abilene Gives has meant real, tangible support—helping us expand access to care, serve more patients, and continue living out our mission day in and day out.

While this chapter may be coming to a close, the impact it has had on PMCM and so many others will continue for years to come.

A heartfelt thank you to the Community Foundation of Abilene for the vision, leadership, and unwavering support of nonprofits across our region. What you’ve built has strengthened this community in ways that can’t be overstated.

And to every donor, sponsor, and supporter—thank you for believing in local missions and showing up in such a big way.
